Got an Audi Allroad. Can’t speak high enough about build quality. It has done 155,000 miles without a squeak. A permanent 4 wheel drive system does go through more tyres than a 2 wheel, but is safe when the bad weather arrives….

Bose system is excellent, best i’ve heard anyway…

However, don’t go near a Audi dealer for servicing, with labour rates +£100 an hour it’s a joke. Go to local indy guys.

I have just offered a job to someone whereby our pension scheme is less than he was used to, so he negotiated to have a little more in his salary, no probs, it was only a few K. He was the right guy and we put lots of effocrt in the recruitment and didnt want to lose him.

My advice woudl be say something like “I would love to accept this role, I think that I can really add value. But the package is less than I was being paid, so i would like to ask for xxx.”

I stay in london most weeks. Look on hotels.com and then trip advisor to choose a cheap and decent place. But you will need to avoid school holidays, xmas, chelsea flower show etc etc otherwise it will be very expensive. book in advance and don’t eat breakfast, often its poor value. I would not stay in the centre, too noisy, but stay in a quiet area….try docklands…….
