try a hacksaw blade without the hacksaw or
strong sharp scraper and a hammer or
heatgun and scraper
non of these may work but worth a try

is that mastic along the top edge of the felt.it looks like the felt has been cut short when installed and roofers stuck the felt to the existing felt flashings then a mastik bodge applied at a later date.dont really see how the new roof would have caused this though.

may have missed something but why not just use schrader on the new wheels and presta on the old wheels.nothing wong with presta valve in a schrader hole though, i just dont like presta valves

swap to schrader valves.presta are fiddly and pointless hassle

check crank length
move seat forward
get some gears and spin instead of pushing high gears
correct seat hight(dropper is ace)
set cleats correctly or try some flats
a bit of suspension helps
i have made these changes and can ride for a couple of hours pain free doesnt sound alot but in pain after walking less than 1/2 a mile.

might work.possibility of trapped water but would’nt make things worse.personally for a diy fix, lift up the lead and coat with aquashield or similar product,push down lead if its knackerd flashband the lead and repoint the chase

forgot to add make sure before aapplying mastik to the lead or any roof coating make sure the surface is completely dry

aquashield is good,if not sure on point of water ingress coat the whole roof.should be able to get a 5 gallon drum for around £90 from a roofing supplier. if the felt is cracked or split apply flashband before coating, should be good for atleast a couple of years
