some cars reset the ecu if you disconnect the battery for a period of time. some cars also need a start up sequence once battery is reconnected. i had a 2004 c max and when it was used to jump start another car the tail gate would lock shut for a couple of weeks. cars do weird shit
think it is possible to turn off the stop start feature in the cars computer while battery is low

my experience. dewalt makita milwauki bosch and hitachi(hikoki).hilti all high end brushless tools are as good as each other. I have hitachi(hikoki) only because batteries less likely to be knicked out the charger on site its lasted 3 years of work so far as industral roofer apart from the jigsaw which seems to be made of cheese. For diy work it would be hard to look past ryobi

Answering the op’s question, no thats talking bollocks. when i was a welder and a smoker a co’worker complained to the boss that every time i had finished welding up a paper bank i sat on my bench and smoked a fag (pre smoking ban)there for he should get more money because he worked for longer. the boss then pointed out to him i had finished welding 8 paper banks that day to his 3

scotroutes i have 2 dogs one is a 12 stone great dane and can run at 30+ mph, over 6 foot on his back legs so not many take a swing at him. if he was to show signs of agression i would have to have him put to sleep for obvious reasons. other dog is a staff cross with american bulldog. never shown signs of agression but mad as a box of frogs so is never let off the lead.

any one else think breaking a friendly dogs jaw so it cant get a bit of drool on you is acceptable. i dont. if ai really thought a dog was going to attack it would get the full force of my boot but a bit of drool and annoyance is unwanted but only a complete **** would kick it in the face

I had this problem on a small giant reign, im 5 foot 8″. put a 2deg slack headset on it and wider bars and was much improved. have no idea one can fit your bike though.

I wouldnt buy it back.A shunt hard enough to put back wheel out of line will most likely IME cause lots of other little problems with tyre wear and bearings.

Have no idea how my sons car started and worked ok.focus 1.8 tdci would not start told it was injector leak back.took out the injectors and had them refurbed and then put them back in the same piston they were removed from worked fine. I am probs missing something somewhere though.

Why not have your own injector refurbed, no need to recode it

Hi birdage. not a doc or physio but coming up towards week 8 of recovery. In all honesty i wouldnt worry much on the bend after 2 weeks.i was only about 45 degrees at 2 weeks. first tkr was only about 20 degreese flexion at 4 weeks but kept doing the exercise and staples out and swelling down and all gets a hell of a lot easier. the method i got good flexion a lot quicker this time was foot flat on floor while seated and bend leg untill it gets uncomfortable and lift ball of foot off the floor keeping the heel on the floor by using the ankle.does that even make sense?. tramadol and paracetemol 4 times a day with some codeine and ibrufen chucked in. had to ween myself off the tramadol and codeine slowly. It feels shit when you think your getting knowhere with the exercises but great with the tiny victories like the first straight leg lift. sorry for rambling but iknow its a lot of hard work and pain but the rewards of walking without pain for the first time in years after my first tkr were absalutely worth it.Not sure if any of this helps but i really can say i feel your pain 🙂

Thanks Jambalaya will respect his privacy.hope hes ok. I know tkr is a routine operation nowadays but still feels like some one has smashed a lump hammer into the knee for the first week or two.

Had my left tkr 7 weeks ago right tkr about 2 1/2 years ago. every one is different with recovery. what i would like to say is dont get upsette when physio is telling you to bend at 90 degreese 2 or 3 days after the operation. Just work hard at the physio and within a few weeks it will get a lot easier but will take upto 12 months to feel like its actually your knee. I have 125 degree bend and was told thats about max. Would like to say if your knees are affecting everyday life i would get them done but if its a bit annoying and gives abit of pain occasionally i would hang on to original knee as long as possible. happy whith the results of mine so far. Apologies for spelling mistakes but this aint an english lesson 😀

At the moment i have been prescribed tramedol paracetemol ibrufen and codeine.can take either tramedol or 60mg of codeine but not both. non of them are addictive and i should know as i have loads every day for the last 4 weeks. 😀

renton did you actually try giving it a a few good smacks. just because it turns freely does not mean the internals are not stuck.

trv valve may have stuck.turn on heating and give the metal parts of the valve a few smacks with the handle of a largeish screw driver

After about 8 months off work in the space of 2 years recovering from different crashes and operations i said to my gp that i should pack in the mtb. her reply was,we can mend bones easier than your heart and lungs, carry on, just try and stay on the bike a bit more often. 😀 49 years old

could it be something to do with the abs. probs not though if it stops with new disks.had the pulsing brake thing on a old n reg 306 sedan many years ago after the rear axle was changed cant for the life of me remember how i fixed it. sure it was abs related though.
