No photos but this week I strengthened up the door by putting 4×2 on the back and fitting 2 5 lever locks, once that was done I used coach bolts to bolt plywood on and overlapped it 15 mm so when the door is closed it overlaps the 2×2 that the door hinge is screwed onto. the shed itself has no windows and the bikes are all locked to each other with various different types of locks.possibly worth leaving a cheap sacrificial bike because if some numpty gets in he probably will have no idea of what is worth what and be happy with the cheap bike.

I would not start a ride with only one brake, if that fails you then have no brakes.not clever

Start the car ,lock the car then go in for tea.
I tried the water method but it ended up in the locks and then they would freeze up, Don’t suppose that matters as much with the remote locking now come to think of it

I’m with you rude boy Clarkson and all the idiots on here are calling him a one eyed idiot when it seems that he does actually have two eyes and is just blind in one.Does that mean if you have had the snip you have no balls?

They must be a shower of deperados, some on the face of it seem to have good jobs but are desperate to be cooks(it means everything to me) seems to be the standard quote. And as for those two uppity tw&ts that present it (don’t get me started on them)
Wife loves it though thats how I know so much about it. I think i will need to have a word with her as she should be making stuff in the kitchen and not watching said desperados.

Met a guy who works offshore for shell who got one on the scheme (he has to tell them he takes it to the train station and locks it there for a fortnight ,even though his bag for a fortnight is too big to carry on a bike)

Willard -Speaking of the dog… Little bugger lets rip just about every time the fiancee makes a fuss of him. I guess he’s just helping me out.

Maybe its your fiancee letting one rip as when she makes a fuss of the dog she knows he’ll get the blame

This will not help you now but next time you get a phone consider going to Carphone Warehouse as I have been told that their phones are not locked to particular networks. However if I am wrong I am sure someone on here will point out the error of my ways.

Michelle Heaton walking down her stairs telling the cameraman not to look up her skirt as she had no pants on, brilliant. P.S you did not see up her skirt (if only they had sent an ex TOTP cameraman we would all have been laughing, well maybe not my mrs if she had to clean the telly)

Agree with people saying dealers are finding it more difficult to get cheap cars, was thinking of getting something newer myself and all salesmen I spoke to said more or less the same thing (cars are as cheap now as they are likely to be (checkout honestjohns website on auction watch)). Also one said when paying why not get a 0% credit card for purchases, it means you can get interest on your cash while getting free finance for your car(just keep your cash to clear the balance and keep an eye on date it has to be cleared for)
hope this is of some help

TJ surely the design of the average bike helmet (an excess of vents)lends itself to help promote rotational injury. The other point being other helmets worn in sports are generally to protect from a specific source (ball generally) or do not incur higher speeds that have to protect against whatever it may come in contact with.(obviously excluding motorsports)Only helmets I can think of just now are rock climbing ,cricket
One I have just thought about is Kayaking which is probably as near to mountain biking (from an impact perspective as you would get)

Fair enough points BD and OMITN but it just seems a dangerous pecedent that if you get T-boned (drivers fault 100%) and end up in a wheelchair it could possibly be argued that if you had back protection you may not be entitled to a proper claim as you were (negligent).

Without going into the debate about whether helmets do actually help protect you, can some one please tell me if their was an accident where someone got a head injury (no helmet worn and 100% vehichle drivers fault) could a court reduce the claim (they are not compulsory like seat belts so why should you be penalised for not wearing one).Them if a claim was reduced where does that end (full body armour for going for some milk)

P.S.sorry for any spelling mistakes or improper use of grammar (ill educated Scot)

Back to the original post, my own personal opinion is when most of our European neighbours feel they are being p!$$ed on they take direct action. and my opinion is that as a country if we were more like them then we would be better off. Trouble is we have too many Daily Mail reading do gooders in this country

So that fact it’s an Asian bloke narrow it down to something like 2 billion people, which is a big help.

So there is 2 billion Asians in the uk then?
I would say in Scotland Asians would make up no more than about 5% of the population
