Apparently that was the second time he was hit by police that day (first attack was 15 minutes previously).Maybe why he was walking about apparently drunk as some have suggested was in actual fact that he previously had been hit on the head.And the ironic thing is the cop who may have dished out the fatal blow may remain anonymous.

I cannot believe anyone is actually trying to defend that one policemans action, he acted like a thug and he should be charged with manslaughter.The fact is there was 8 or so of them and he was not any risk to the officers or anyone else for that matter. You walk home from the pub pissed as a fart drinking from a beer bottle you should not have taken ,you discard said bottle and some henious crime happens there. Police come and find bottle but can find no evidence of anyone else being there. (would you fancy your chances not to be fitted up)

I do not think a rigid singlespeed is any slower than a fullsus having ridden Glentress with one on my tail, however that was only on one section and the full sus made it down the 3 sections from spooky wood in rapid succession (no stopping between sections) whereas the guy on the rigid stopped at the bottom of the first section which left in my mind the thought that his armpump was that bad he wanted a minute or two.Feel free to give thoughts or disagree.
