tracknicko ok, i just though that with it being a downhill race it would be just that and not like cross country-cyclo cross.
the last race they was all wearing full amour goggles and it was a flat course.

i just dont understand why they should wear all the full garmenets and protection..
im all for safety but this hmm.

Specialized stumpjumper would be a real nice choice.

Well i have walked the track yesterday as me and my partner are staying in sheffield at the present.

It looks like a fantastic cyclo cross downhill,but thats it, was not what i expected from a downhill race!! apart from a jump its very tame indeed and CYB trail centre is far more technically challenging!!!

and i thought wharncliffe was supposed to be a challenge huh!

I always run a minimum of 50psi in mine the harder the better.
i certainly do not understand these low pressures at all 🙄

I just ride Panaracer Fire XC all year round no need for anything else!

Hmmm i have always stayed loyal to Panaracer Fire XC 1.9 an absolute beauty of a tyre the best by far out there! you should get one they just roll marvelous.

Ae is the worst trail centre known to man. Awful tame, draggy, exposed claggy trails.

I certainly think that its ones duty not to ride off road when its like this so as not to cause more trail erosion than necessary

yes indeed i would wholeheartedly pay for such an experience in building a mountain bike trail as i certainly do ride the trail centers for 95% of my whacky jaunts.

Use an AM bicycle does help too!

I tend to ride the canal towpaths when its like this.Although i do ride them often anyway.

i think it is something i am really keen on too,sounds a lovely idea.

always wear the essential apparel

If you have had a break start on the canal towpaths beofore heading back to the rough and tough of the trail centres.

fluorescent and highly reflective garments is what i seem to wear mostly 😯

stream beds,rocks,all off the beaten track,steep stuff is what we ride.

I do think of safety of the upmost importance in this dangerous sport,take care when you and your friends do this event as rather you than me…

I always try to imagine oneself as i stand at the lip of the drop or jump,shut my eyes and feel the take off underneath me and have that picture in my head.it works for me,although im only at the 1-2ft drop stage at the moment.
i do find them very frightening and dangerous!
