Ours was delivered this evening, the box is huge.

I got 2 sets of pedals, and some other bits.

Not put it together yet, think that will have to wait for the weekend. looks nice though and it fits in the shed which is even better.

There weren’t any instructions though, can some post a pic of how the spring thing works/fits?

Can wait to ride the bugger.

    Thanks in advance.

Got my despatch notice today, so mines on it’s way!

Is that something that would interest anyone else ?

I might be interested in some if they have all the clips to attach them and the price of course.

I’ve read the brakes are a bit poo when the bikes loaded, what’s the real-world opinion of them?

I delayed my delivery, but according to the guy I spoke to, mine was being built in and readied for delivery last Thursday.

Hope it’s still waiting for me.

I’ve just bought one as well.

I thought my first new bike would be a fancy pants carbon road bike but it’s this.

Very exciting and thanks for the PSA Woody.

Point to note: Front mount seats mean you have to pedal with your knees stuck out. I found it unbearable. Hamax Siesta out back for me.

Suppose it’s got a got to do with the geo of the bike a long TT would help with the knee thing.

    @Jef Wachowchow

Mrs Wachowchow uses it for the daily nursery commute and I take the boy up the woods on it at weekends.

How tall’s your Mrs, I was thinking about getting one for joint use as well? Mines 5′ 6″

I was a crossing marshal on Cromwell Road and seeing the first wave of riders go past was awesome followed by the next 16,000 riders.

It was a great event, just a shame it started so early as there was not much support on your ride out of London due to the time. My mate who rode said there was loads of supportin Surrey and the run in to the finish was amazing.

For the pros I stood on an island and flag marshalled, the peloton split right in front of me and went down both sides, the noise and blaze of colour was awesome. A really good memory shame I couldn’t take pictures. 😀

Well done to everyone who rode it, the riders I spoke were full of praise for the organisation which is great for a new event on this scale.

One thing I found a bit disappointing is that there were 3,500 no shows. So if you do give feedback we should ask for a late/last minute registration to fill the empty places.

Riding through empty streets in central London at 5.00am was a novelty.

flippinheckler, can you tell me what the cost your build was please?

    My guess is £1400ish

I missed out on the Addicts that were on sale due to my dithering and am now considered a build your own option.

Miles are miles. Bit sneaky to hold back until the last minute with logging them. Ninth it is then and “must try harder” this month.

    Wasn’t intentional.

I just spotted it the other day and thought I’d join. I’ve not been on for a while and saw Krytons Post and jumped in.

    😳

Sorry no name was me, I thought it was all road miles including commutes.

Miles are miles aren’t they. What if I use my commute to do some training doesn’t that count?

Me and couple of others are doing it.

Coaches back start at 9am and will take 3.5hrs 😯 – bit slow if you ask me but faster than riding

The incident has left you too shaken to cycle on the roads, civil action?

Not really, I’m riding everyday. I wouldn’t let some sh1tbag bus driver scare me off the roads or even lie about it.

    Road bike – possibly.

    Mountain bike – probably not.

Unless you don’t like your teeth or wear a full facer all the time.

The max I’d do is 5mm and make sure both bolts clamped properly.
