I’m looking for one as well.

and as Ecky posts the EPSON SX445W is at the top of my list.

It’s one of the smallest as well.

And epson is a Decent make.

Currys comet are selling it for 59£ at the moment down from 99 which may mean a new model is coming soon.

It’s due to the slow processors in compact cameras and that’s the reason I’ve been disappointed with every digital camera we’ve bought. Unless you shoot in bright sunlight or switch all the auto features off there is a delay between pressing the button and the shot being taken

The only way you can get around it is with a high end compact / mirror less compact or buy a an slr.

You could experiment with the setting but it’s not ideal really.

Congrats dogs are really good fun.

Ours sometimes does tail wagging in her sleep.

She’s just been out chasing bunnies in the sand dunes which is one of her favourite pastimes even in this foul weather. She had more fun than me anyway.

So bring it on, 60 hours of my life to disappear. My only worries are can I resist the running commentary and worse still, what, god forbid, if she doesn’t like it, grounds for divorce?

Mrs Eye though she wouldn’t like it and it took her 3 or 4 episodes to key into the language but then after that she was hooked. Like Bubbs was hooked only Bubbs kicked it and came good but Mrs Eyes aint never gonna kick The Wire.

    As Clay says SHEEEEEEEEEEEET

Superb series, you even feel sorry for the bad guys. Apart from the Greeks, they’re evil and not even Greek.

Omar and bodie were 2 of my favourites.

In North Wales at the moment
This suggests you may not be local.

Did you pay the “English” price?

Thats the everyone price – modern till system. Why just fleece tourists when there’s locals you can rip off all year round.

There’s only 2 grocery shops in Abersoch, bit of a captive market really.

If you ever come here bring some emergency coke (the drink) with you.

^^^ Popped to the continent on business this week and the magazine shop at Amsterdam airport wanted 15€ for an English MTB mag, that’s around £14

I paid 12€ for a copy of Vice magazine* in Amsterdam when I lived there and at the time it was free in the UK.

*this one not the Vice that Amsterdam is renowned for[/url]

Gas fitter, sparks don’t like touching boilers

They don’t have to be a registered as it’s not messing around with the gas flow, just the electrics. But if you don’t know them you’re better off with a fully qualified fitter who has experience with your make of boiler.

Don’t call British Gas to do it or your grandkids will be still paying the bill.

Or as above if you are reasonably competent you can bosh it in yourself.

I don’t agree with the war in principal but I DO hope all the troops come back safe and sound.

It’s a bloody awful situation, but at the end of they day, they are choosing to lay their lives on the line. So hats off to them all.

    Renton: Good luck, safe return

2 people broke laws put in place for their own safety and that of others and came a cropper.
That’s what happens when you break the law and seems like a very good reason to a) obey 30mph limits in particular and b) not ride thru red lights..
Not sure how or why anyone has a claim for compensation. Just seems like an exercise in idiots self-identifying!

    Well put.

Jumping a red in the middle of the night or early morning when there’s no-one/vehicle to hit is fine. It’s not legal. I’d never do on in the busy times, it doesn’t offer an advantage on my journey anyway. it doesn’t add that much to my journey stopping.

As for wearing hi viz – it’s not for me thanks. If there’s low visibility I’d use lights. as cars do. My commuters a lovely shade of Canary yellow anyway so hopefully it would be seen.

The RLJ should have got nothing and the driver should have lost his license. Even Stevens innit.

CASH STRAPPED police forces. The average police woman’s uniform costs around £250. But Ann Summers’ shops do a wipe-clean one for under twenty. So save money and improve public relations in one stroke.

and I agree as they are making the roads a mess.

    What does this even mean?

Maybe it’s because we don’t line up all nice like wot the cars/lorrys/van and busses do. Single file for all cyclists from now on – maybe in order of size and type of bike ridden as well.
