Blurring is to do with how quickly the tv refreshes (MHz) the higher the number the better. Anything 100+ will be fine.

Our be Samsung is 100 and it’s been fine for te euros, tdf and te limps both in SD and HD. Not watched motor racing as its big pie of poo, but I’d assume that’d be alright a well.

    You can also get a 180cc version 0-60 in 4 secs 😯 😯 8O.

STW this is Alice, she loves pats, food, chasing sqizzers, food, playing catch, food, swimming, food, chasing rabbits, food, licking toddlers (when she’s allowed) and food.

You get free delivery though – can’t argue with that! It makes them almost worth having 😕

Brilliant set of picture, there’s only one that I would have omitted.

Only because the shoes on the lady at the right are far too small for her. Overhanging toes however well manicured are extremely unattractive. 😯

@wwaswas, if you do get a 705, I’ll buy the cadence sensor if you decide to sell it. 😀

I wear a helmets on and off road, mine are very light and not that sweaty.

Don’t take this the wrong way but I don’t care if you wear a helmet or not. It may or may not save your life if you do have a accident. It might feel nicer without one, you may look like a rebel, you may look cooler and your hair will be fully aerated.

It’s your choice, after all the only ones that would be affected are you and your family – should anything happen that is.

I’d recommend John Lewis, the tv we bought was no slightly cheaper at places like Richer Sounds but at JL you get 5 year guarantee – which costs about £150-£200 everywhere else.

You can’t argue with that kind of value.

EDIT you should listen to pmc00per, he knows what he’s on about!

Roofbox are brilliant, give them a call and they’ll sort out out over the phone.

I’ve got Thule wing bars which are pretty good with altera bike carriers.

Question? do you shave to just above the hem of your shorts or do you include everything below the navel?

I have no intention of shaving as I’ve got a fair bit of hair on my arm/shoulders/chest/face. Just take a look at my profile pic and it’s far off that. My hair seems to be undertaking and epic migration south from what was the luscious plains that made up my cranium to the serengeti that is my back and arse.

Mankini’s just a bib version of speedos.

Bib always, with lusso tights over them for winter/rain/shit weather.

He riding for no other cause but to sell some bikes for halfords .

He got it because he rides a bike and is called Francis.

The ads do give the impression that he’s riding the whole tour, but it’s only 4 stages. Actaully I dont even think its 4 full stages.

Here’s the full length film. He is irritating and I am slightly envious of him but he is very annoying.

Pardon my ignorance but, Is it common to have to face a brand new frame?

Surely it should be delivered ready to go.

As you can tell I’ve never bought a brand new frame. 😳

Our local golf course has been fenced off so it can be use as a camp site. I don’t play golf but it’s a nice walk with the dog. There’s a nature reserve and an old waterworks which will no doubt be well used ruined over the games. I can’t imagine the amount of litter it’s going to generate.

It’s a sad day for Alice the spaniel, no more river swims for a while. 🙁

    Nice one SEB. 👿

Balls! beaten to it, I’ll wait second inline for the cadence sensor if stevious doesn’t have it.

That’s if you’re selling it that is.

Looks like a crack on the side of the headtube from that picture though.

    Think you’ll find that’s a sticker.

Blah blah Olympics. Blah blah London. Maybe they should have a parliamentary debate about it?

You do realise the rest of the country don’t give a flying ****? We’re only paying for it. Suck it up and just think of that golden ‘legacy’

Feeling a bit left out are we? Go buy a little flag and give it a wave – you’ll feel a lot better about the whole fiasco – Honest! 😀

It’s the older mono’s, with only one entry point. I’ve thought about the slot thing but first thought there may be a better option.

Good shout with the superglue I’ll give that a go, THe way this spattering sessions gone I might end up glue myself to the handlebars. 😕

Very nice virtual tour. Really brings out the quality in the wood floor.

Was a bit worried about the ‘Shoeing Area’, though. Was half expecting a couple of bevvied up West Ham fans sitting there waiting for you.

Thats the funniest comment on the thread, well done.

But given he’s an ex banker, it’ll probably a few of his city mates coked up ready for a bit of Patrick Bateman style action.

Get a big mantlepiece and stick it on there. 😀

OR if you insist on riding it, you can use the old inner tube method, It will cost you next to nowt (price of a zip tie) and is as good or better that any other off the shelf protection.

I’ve done it on my bikes.

I like touching stuff when I’m in a bike shop. I don’t know why but I do.

Do you also have to try and change gear, pull brake levers and attempt to pick them up whilst still attached to the stand
    DIIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEE !!!!!
(flashback to a scratched Parlee frame episode….despite a ‘keep yer mitts off’ sign and it being secured to the stand-flippers,all of em!!)

No I just like running my finger along the lines of the bike.

I’d never changed gears and try to pick up a bike, I’m not a child FFS. 🙄 (well I’d stop doing that in my 20’s)

But sometimes I do flick the frame, to see what sound it makes. My faces are carbon (hollow thud) and 853 steel a lovely little resonating ding sound. Is that OK?

I’m not knocking it, it does look very high end though – more Bond Street, than EC1

It’s a bit too much like a art gallery for me, I like touching stuff when I’m in a bike shop. I don’t know why but I do.

With Condor round the corner, he must know what he’s doing.

I might pop in, if I don’t smell much, so I might have to wait until winter. 😕

Is it just your wheels that knackered, sounds like they was quite a bit of force so it could have damaged your frame as well.

Get it checked out properly and I hope the c*** gets what’s coming to him.

Split, sounds like you’ve over specced a mid range frame.

The shifters and rear mech are worth as much as the frame, probably more second hand.

That’s about 150 different kinds of amazing. Will have to study the video more.
