+1 for Seedless grapes are the perfect balance bike fruit.

But not too many or you’ll have the squits tomorrow.

I’ve got rollers and I’ll be dusting them off for winter and probably a good while longer we’re expecting our first child in March.

But I’m also toying with the idea of getting a turbo for intervals as my rollers don’t have any resistance.

    Rollers + sufferfest = death/broken furniture/injury

Looking at it again Al’s right, it does look like he was an escort to the grey RR.

He wasn’t wearing ID numbers on his vest either combined dark blue uniform, the shades and sh*tty attitude suggests he more than a run of the mill bobby.

I did 2 orders, stuff I’ve had in my wish list and stuff I needed.

They probably had a huge spike in sales which would more than cover the discounts.

I was looking to have a xt hub laced onto a new 717 non disc rim, 2 bike shops quoted between £90-110. A brand new wheel is xt/717 rim brake wheel is £130

It did cross my mind to build them myself, them get them tuned but I don’t have the time/knowledge to do it.

Go to the painted chapel for a good long look. It’s stunning.

Maybe tour the bike cafes and hang out with the cool kids.

    Thanks Grum for the post.

2 purchases saved me 20 sheets, if we ever meet, I’ll buy you a tasty beverage.

It was actually Harry’s post I read yesterday. 😳

It will probably cost £100 per wheel for your hubs to be built on new rims.

    How much are new Hopes/Mavics?

What’s the resale of your current wheels?

    edit beaten to it!

Salsaboy: Bruichladdich’s packaging is impressive. It’s very contemporary, not your traditional whiskey brand. The distillery must have quite a open minded marketing department.

^^^^This and the holocuast are the reasons the can do anything thy want without reproach and total impunity. Anyone who berates them is aligned with the nazis or Muslim radicals.

For a people who’ve been so wronged over history, they certainly don’t mind dishing it out without remorse.

I’ve got the Montane FeatherLite Velo Jacket in sports direct hi vis yellow.

It’s strapped to my saddle rails at the moment, packs tiny and is super light.

The fit is on the slim side but is comfy enough and is perfect as a ‘just in case’ jacket.

It’s not the size of the knob, it’s the number of threads…. (per inch, obv)

No one likes a massive knob with lots of threads. Dreadfull trolling resistance, you see.

I was thinking about dong exactly that. Most of my XC is in Epping on natural trails where there’s loads of low branches/foliage/stuff that hits you in the face. A pair glasses would quickly be knocked off, where googles would stay on and protect my eyes.

I’d rather look likes dick than have an eye injury, after all you can’t ride blinded can you?

I’ve heard ‘tapping it out’ lots on the TV commentary lately, where does that fit on DONKS list?

I prefer this method when removing a headset.

I know I thought that on the way up.

The Colnago WC looks right up my street.

OR a rigid 29er with 2 sets of wheels.

    That’s that settled.

    I’m taking the road bike.

If I get the ‘itch’ I can always ride/drive to Brenin and rent an MB, but there’s a lot of road that needs me to explore it.

Looking forward to climbing some real hills.

What kind of bike rack only takes one bike?

Can’t be arsed taking 2 bikes/helmets/tubes/shoes/bags/bottles etc. I just want to get on a bike and ride.

Plus it’s going in the car and we’ve got other ‘stuff’ to cart up.

The article doesn’t mention the insurers name, has it been made public? That would make them pay for the op.

It will ride like a chopper.

Seriously – I have tried a longer AtoC rigid fork on a similar aged Kona and it ruined the handling and look reet wrong.

I ended up running a 425mm AtoC and that worked well.

What fork did you end up getting?

Make him wear a bell, a hi vis jumpsuit with I’m a thieving c*** on it and boxing gloves so he can’t use any tools. That’s the only thing that will stop him doing it again.

For the real fan who’s got money to burn this is essential.

Bargain at £170. It is a nice ‘thing’ but far too expensive, for me anyway.
