Pic shows it on a fixie.

Don’t they realise the only way to carry a lock on one of those babies is slung around the waist of your sister’s jeans. It’s the law, I tell you…

Keep up, the only way for a hipster to carry their lock is like this:

In the back pocket of his sisters jeans that have been cut off mid thigh.

What’s the diameter of a 650 wheel including the tyre?

RD, is that your bike? You’re right about the looking awful bit, but I’ll probably go toobless.

How about 26/650? It might look atheistically better.

The last shot is my favourite, good work.

    You don’t need one.

They’re a harder compound so don’t wear as quick. A cheap tyre will do the same job if you’re running expensive ones.

Got emails saying my 2 orders are dispatched as well.

    Quite pleased, thanks Evans 😀

I’m 5’9″ on a good day and ride a 54, so your bike is really too small.

You could try lowering the nose of your saddle that might relieve some pressure on your tisn’t.

Higher and longer stem may help, but your frame is too small.

Looks interesting, 174 miles a day.

How do you go about training for this?

My mojo was on top of my car when I got home, which was a relief.

I had visions of it flying off and getting smashed to bits on the trip back north Wales.

But seriously, is there any people/clubs around your way who just ride for fun as a social thing?

    How about road riding?

    Where are you based?

How fast are you climbing that you need a suspension seat post?

As fast as I can on a 32:18 usually, as I said above I use it on my Sanderson because it’s the only 27.2 post I have.

Also surely a suspension seatpost would make it harder to stay seated when climbing?

It doesn’t bob, so I’ve not noticed anything being harder.

Because if it’s too rough off road you stand up

Staying seated is better for traction on climbs in mud, over wet rocks and roots.

I use a USE Sumo on my Pace 305 because it’s very harsh on my bot bot. It’s also used on my rigid Sanderson as it’s the right size.

Personally I really like it, they do take the sting out and the USE is more normal looking that a Thudbuster.

EDIT There’s not twist or bob in mine. If it bobs you’re too heavy for the spring so get a firmer one.

actually I think it may have been spotted, I don’t think my payment is going

It’s more likely the amount of traffic on the site.

Done a couple of 1000 mies with various bikes (carbon, alu and steel frames) on them with no problems at all.

I sometimes cart around a 17″ MBP plus change of clothes, shoes. waterproofs etc and use a Chrome Berlin.

It was bloody expensive, but it’s huge at 52l. It’s also very well built, waterproof and extremely secure. It might not as waterproof as an Ortlieb backpack but I’m more than happy to cart around my 2k laptop whatever the weather.

Panniers weren’t an option for me as the bike has no mounts and P clips are meant to be rubbish.

    What about condensation?

Your mid/top layers should wick it away, mine do.

Go for plastic, it may not feel as nice but it stays dry therefore you stay warmer.

I’m hoping for a Nightwing/Robin follow on but I don’t think there’ll be another Christian Bale/Batman film. Which is a shame as I thought they were great as a trilogy.

    1. Front brake on push your bike forwards and backwards, do the forks make a knocking sound?

    2. Lift the front of the bike and push the wheel side to side, does it move?

    3. Is your QR/axel tight, check that as well.

    4. Did you loosen the stem bolts before you tightened the top cap bolt?

This one, 3.99 over your budget they are very well made, comfortable and light.

Or for the road this one.

I’m a bit biased, I’ve bought Met helmets for years and really rate them.

They look like they’ve got very short cuffs for a waterproof glove.
