I an a big bugger.
20 stone Lorry driver. Dogs scare the living S@@T out of me. I can cope with ones that don’t jump or bark at me but if pushed I will attack a dog.
If I attack a dog there is a bloody good chance I will kill it. Not because I want to but, it is totally fight or flight and I am shit scared.
Before you ask … yes I have killed dogs.
When it happens I am totally shit scared. Totally absolutally shit scared
Just beforehand the owners have been laughing and saying … they just want to say hello etc.
I have been called names and abused.. I have been attacked by dog owners..

I totally sympathise with OP.

When I was very young and at University.
A mate of mine (Sally) was a cat lover.
She would halk about her parent’s latest cat all the time then one day she announced that the cat had been trained and Sally never mentioned the cat again.
Her parents got a new cat, Sally would talk about it until it was trained and once again she would never talk about that cat. This patten was repeted a number of times… I never found out what the cats were trained to do… always wondered if the had produced the Wiskers cat etc.

When Sally got married we met up at the parents house beforehand…. her parents house right next to a busy fast rail line.

Thank god I never asked if they had produced the Whiskers cat.

I dicoverd I had hayfever when I commented to a mate that I had a summer cold… just like last year.. and it wouldnt go away.
She gave me a couple of hayfever tablets (tesco ..will cost about £1-2) it went away in an hour or so… I stopped the tablets it returned. Case solved.

My nut allergy is mostly for unroasted nuts… apparently when heated there is an enzyme (or something) which becomes denatured no problems… not roasted ..vomit city.

Started with Hazel nuts and then progressed as I got older.

Now loads of Fruit, Nuts, Veg and Spices.

Pain in the bum.

Not too early for some of us lucky peeps.

I normally start with Hazel late Jan then progress into Birch.
I also have the joy of being allergic to most fruits as a result.
Will guarantee that some of the lucky people who have responded have Oral Allergy syndrome (or one of the other names for it as well)… and some don’t know they have it.

Brother lives in Emirates saw him last at my Father’s funeral… expect to see him at my Mother’s..don’t expect there will be many other occasions.

Sisters both live 200ish miles away speak to one 1/2 times weekly other 3-4 times a year.

Sisters speak to each other occasionally nobody bothers with my brother.

Sad isn’t it.
