    Surely this forum would be a good place to organise one? I've been on a few on my own- had some good experiences and some bad ones. At least if someone gathered together some of the lone guns from STW they'd be gueranteed some good banter, if not the guy/gal of their dreams!

    What's a bird? Pet budgie?

    I was attacked by a Tui while riding in NZ- kept flying down and wacking my helmet. Didn't seem interested in the bike though

    Lastnight's Xmas party was stollen and Mohito fuelled… messy messy messy- woke to discover the living room floor awash with lime slices , mint and icing sugar, and found a current in my ear….

    I had to surgically remove the last slice of stollen from the window it was stuck to- mmm breakfast!

    On the Subject of Loud Amps, this from Soundgarden;
    Quote
    KT: People ue a lot of gear to make it look louder, to fill up the space on the stage. But then you see someone like Neil Young and he's got this small little amp over there. You just need to get your sound and the rest of it is mic'd. You should be able to hear yourself on-stage and that's about it.

    CC: In terms of getting the best sounds, I've had better luck with less. They have an easier time mixing the band if you're using less gear, because they have less volume from the stage to compete with.

    Top man!

    I am after the whole lot… If Jeepster sold it as a download, I'd snap it up. If you've got it as mp3's you could send me that would be great :-)

    I'm a RBS customer.

    I'm actually in credit- like 5 figures in credit. I am very close to taking the whole shebang to another bank. If all the banks customers voted with their feet where would they be? The directors are answerable to their customers

    You can drag things around in Movie maker, but you can't construct a rough edit in the way I'm used to- all the files are up against each other- all a bit fisher price

    Yes, there are evil and dispicable ways to find a copy of Premier, but they are places I'm not really sure I want to go with a nice shiney new virgin laptop….

    LOVE THEM!

    Had the socks for 3 years, and only hada few leaks in extreme conditions. Wash them at low temp and line dry them. Wear thin merino socks under them, and make sure my boots are fairly loose.

    Gloves have done me 2 seasons, so far so good, may get some undergloves to keep my fingers properly warm

    Yup, I'm on 8 speed on my hardtail. Bits were cheaper, less ghost shifting in the mud, easier to clean. TBH I don't notice any differnce between 8 and 9 speed….
