They will be LOADs better than normal PC speakers/Ipod docks. Depending on the size of the room choose 5’s or 8’s.. 5’s will have plenty of power and be loud enough for most rooms though without being too bass heavy.

If you are going to the Dam’ with your bike you may also consider taking the ferry, saves you packaging it up and just ride on and off the ferry. Ferrys from a few places in the uk to holland; Newcastle – IJmuiden (Just north of Amsterdam), Hull – Hook of Holland, Harwich to Hook of Holland.

Pedrosa put up a good fight, surprised Lorenzo managed to keep so close to the Hondas too.

I think Rossi was having understeer problems and is still readjusting to the M1, He will be back near the top as soon as they are in Jerez.

Good ride from Crutchlow! I thought he was going to end up battling with Bradl more.

Ive just booked my flights for the Catalunya race 🙂

Marc is awesome to watch on a bike.. I think its going to be a good race for 2nd place on sunday as if Marc keeps this pace up he will be winning by quite some margin.

Tallinn is nice, I have spent lots of time there over the last few years (My girlfriend is Estonian).

Also in Tallinn you have one of Europe’s best equipped shooting range (http://www.tacticalshooting.ee) – also very cheap! I shoot a bit there as pictured below me with an M4 carbine.

This thread is dangerous.. And who ever posted the hobbyking link has a lot to answer for (My other half is going to go mental when my 4 packages from HongKong eventually turn up) 😆

Looks like I’m building a F450 framed FPV explorer! I even bought a Hubsan X4 to train on while all the parts turn up.

I have just saw the times posted at todays private test from Austin Texas where HRC, Yamaha and LCR honda are. No surprise that Marquez is the fastest and top of the time sheets by lunch. That boy is well in contention for the championship this year. I cannot wait for it to start next month!

OP how tall are you and your other half?

I found the MX5 a bit cramped with me being 6ft 2! One thing to consider if going the MX5 route.

    Boxster gets my vote.

House of cards is awesome, my OH started watching it on sunday and I was drawn in while trying to work from home. Up to chapter 5 so far! Best thing on Netflix since Breaking bad.

Haha, Ive had my fair share of barking mad ones too. I love the occasional slightly eccentric inventor, they are usually the most fun to work with but they are few and far between these days with the cost of Patenting something.

Paulosoxo – here is a link to an example of a one way non disclosure agreement from the IPO, use this as a template. http://www.ipo.gov.uk/nda-agreement.pdf

FuzzyWuzzy – No idea what happens if you do break an NDA, I have never felt inclined too! haha. But I am guessing its a case of being sued for damages of some sort you would need to ask a Patent attorney with real world experience of this. I have got to see some cool stuff over the years though, always nice to see products come to life or even use a product that I did the patent work for.

Agree with footflaps. If it is a commercially viable product with the intention of selling it, get patented. As you wont have a leg to stand on if the product is disclosed without protection.

The whole patenting process can be costly in itself. But it can be done on the cheap with the right direction / contacts.

I can help with a template non disclosure agreement if you need it (i’ve signed bloody loads over the years haha) So you can get the ball rolling with prototypes.

What have you applied for at the IPO? I would be wary of writing a specification with the claims for a patent yourself without seeking the help of a Patent Attorney/agent first. As if you have missed anything in this description or wrongly worded anything then this can be exploited by people and still steal your idea (Writing a spec is an art in itself). I can put you in contact with pocket friendly attorney to give you guidance if need be.

Also if you need help with drawings give me a shout, i can either knock them up for you or give you pointers (lots of rules to formalise Patent drawings).

    +1 on what stavromuller said.

If it is a commercially viable product get it protected before showing any drawings or disclosing it to anyone. Go see a patent or design attorney (first consultations are usually free) before you start making mock ups / disclosing it to public.

I work as a Patent Illustrator for many large Patent Attorneys and companies around the world. If you want any further pointers my personal email is profile.

Houns, I think I may of spotted you in the distance as I climbed up to the 4 stones. Were you wearing a luminous yellow jacket and riding a black framed bike? Thats the only cyclist I spotted up there. I was up there on my inbred. I had a pootle from Stourbridge up past the hill tavern to the 4 stones, then had a pootle around and made my way over towards walton before heading back. Didnt make it to nimmings cafe as I took a home made cheese salad butty and strawberry jelly pot to eat at the summit. Still trying to get used to these spds, only had one fail today! 🙂

It was a bit hazy and my phone isn’t too good with pics but here is the view from Clent I caught.

486’s are top down bleeding – very easy, let gravity do its thang, just keep the reservoir topped up.

The funnel is for the M575’s.. bleeding them is not as easy as M486’s, but they are not as much of a ball ache like avids usually are. I put the tricky bleeding down to the awkward shape of the lever reservoir.. tipping it forward and then backward on the bar with a few depresses each time of the lever gets the air out.

Put a set of M486’s on the OH’s bike from the CRC Bargain PSA, flipped levers and bled just to be sure, so easy to work on and plenty of power. Rear hose was a bit short for her frame, but I fitted a new one from Merlin (BH-90 – £12). Only used on the odd pootle, not in anger yet.

Last week I put a set of the Bargain M575’s from CRC on my Inbred. Lots of air in the factory bleed and a bit of a faff to get them bled up compared to M486’s. But now they are working they are very nice. Hoses are plenty long enough (Rear had to be cut down to fit my 20″ inbred). Also comes with the little yellow bleed funnel thrown in for free from CRC. Plenty of power with my xt rotors, not rode enough to give a detailed account of how they are yet.

Picked up a set of these last week from CRC, front and rear in black. bargain. But the factory bleed is bloody terrible.. so much air in them, a bit of a faff to get them all bled up (not as easy as the bargain CRC M486’s that i put on my OH’s bike) but Ive got them working well.

Hose lengths are pretty good too (too long for my 20″ inbred) and they come with the yellow bleed funnel from CRC thrown in too.

Mine turned up the weekend.. these are so much more ball ache to work with than the M486’s, factory bleed had more air in it than a 26er inner tube.. Bleeding was a right @£&* too! They do look alright though and hoses were plenty long enough for my 20″ inbred

    1. Patent Illustrator – I do drawings of inventions and products for registered design and patent applications around the world.

    2. Yes, I used to work in house at a big multi-national company, but have been self employed doing the same thing for the same people for several years now. It gives me freedom to do what I want and earn what I want.

I am in Stourbridge too Houns and have heard these. I tried tracking them last week on planefinder.net but nothing comes up. I will try and get a photo when I next hear/see them.
