It seems like everyone is ignoring kcr for whatever reason to have a different conversation. Like how issues of minorities are ignored until they are subsumed and appropriated to no longer centre them.

They are incredible versatilevers fast things, you’ll get looks and questions. The trick is in greeting the right tires and finding the tyre pressure that’s just right.

Fun story, I’ve been doing that on the same trailt once a year for the last 10. One day I’ll make a timelapse. Out the door a bit before 4, watching the sun rise from the top of Burbage moor about 4.40, take a picture back in bed by 5.30 up at 7 work for 8. It’s surreal and wonderful and beautiful and quiet and so very different and the lack of people is quite novel. Highly recommended.

Yeah, there’s so much that needs to go right for such an attempt. I’m still impressed that he had a go. Don’t know the man but hope he has another go, it was fun following.

Shame he’s had to abandon, sounds like he was suffering, heatstroke yesterday and a crash this morning. Hope he has another go when he’s able to.

Yeah he needs to average 18.7mph to break the record, at his last check he was doing 18.5mph the stretch he’s just done is especially brutal. He’s been impressive though.

I don’t know that he’ll make it, he’s about to go over the unkindest part of the whole ride between Kendal and Carlisle and he’s slowed down a bunch. Maybe it was night time and he’ll pick up in the daytime.

Not quite sure what happened to the Michael Broadwidth attempt, his 2 week window for the attempt opened on the 29th of April and lapsed earlier this week.

Depends on what you want to do and when you’re going. Llanddona is a massive pretty beach, nothing to do mind but there’s a pub nearby, Cemlyn is good too but again end of nowhere, pubs are not too far away though. Bangor is pretty decent.

10mm SWA supply might cover you for future shinanigans. Probably better though to get your local sparks to do the calculations, tell you size of cable, supply isolator, breakers and so on, then you do the digging donkey work knowing he’ll definitely sign for it.

Treak and Devils Arse are fun interesting walk/talk/tour guide affairs but Speedwell is done in a Gondola and there’s an Ice Cream shop at the entrance/exit.

Don’t bosses get stupid spendy just before the business tanks? I’m sure I read that somewhere, polish that C.V.

Stages 6,10,13,14,19 and 20 look brutal those should be fun to watch also stage 15 is a 10km ITT at an average of 8.3% maxing out at 11%! I mean to say there’ll be some boring sprinters stages but around that there’ll be plenty fun.

Roglic is a Slovinian former ski jumper and this was his Grand Tour debut and there was only 30cm in it. Impressive is what that was.

Sram x5 GXP bottom bracket is pretty junky, I’ve had mine replaced twice in 6 months, they made me pay for it first time making out like it was my fault as I had installed it, I’m still bitter about that.

It depends, what size oven is it? Most ovens are less than 3kW so would be ok on a 13A spur.
