I ha just bought a nukeproof megawatt XXL when CRC had discounted it to 4000 from 6000 the did an extra 10% off so paid £3600 in the end elite spec which is basically the same spec as this but with ep8 rather than 801. I understand the have also updated any new ep8 motors with the better seals too 801 adds di2 linkglide compatibility whick I’m unlikely to use is it £800 better than the megawatt?

I have considered this however, I have read some reviews that the clearance for 700 c wheels is not great. Also the new digger Pro has peaked my attention at £800 less with simular spec albeit not steel…

Yes it’s the local and is defo still here it’s been changed a bit after last years midlands xc race, they have the explorer trail too but that very tame even on a gravel bike. The only thing really different is the car park in now nt and you have to pay if your not a member and they have a coffee hut open on the weekends

B17 3 looks awesome in my opinion perfect travel for the uk and can stick some 29ers in it if you want to go a bit faster / further.

My original plan was to go to ultegra but it didn’t work with the chainset when I had the bike it had bar end shifters that I didn’t like so changed to r685s that only run a double and not a triple chainset. So it I changed back would have to get new stis and brakes which will cost just as much

I have been running a MTB trekking chainset but taken off the little ring on the chainset running a 36-48 would like a a 34 – 50 would give me a decent range have been running it on a 11-28 and rode up everything I have attempted.

I am thinking of have a 11:32 cassette with 34:50 that would get me almost everywhere I would like to go I would imagine

Hi guys. I also have a vagabong just wondering if anybody had any advise on chainsets I wanted to run a double with ideally at least a 42 on for more top end speed any recommendations as road chainsets don’t fit due to the 73mm Bob shell.

Well they have assured me that black one they have sent out is a v1 freehub. The red one that came of mine is obviously not a v1 as it doesn’t fit

So what is the difference with the trail star and pacestar is it just tread pattern. The dt Swiss rims look nice for the money as I have heard the Hugo’s are not as nice as the scrapers.

I am thinking 3.00 nn on front and back if I can get a hold of them as I have seen merlin have them at a decent price if the come back in stock.

Any one build the rims up onto a geared hub?
