I was actually +1 the fact he was a COCK but forgot to use the quote function.
If you watch the clip he realises the taxi driver is calming down and walking away so he starts to try and antagonise him by clapping his hands. It seems all he wants to do is ride around looking for footage to post online.

He does come over as a bit of a Whopper. But to be fair he did say he shouldn’t have clapped his hands in hindsight and he has a point in that if he could touch his cab he was too close.
Both as bad as each other really.

Longlife oils are used to increase the time between services which is great in theory in reducing the service cost of the modern vehicle. In reality your general punter is oblivious to the fact that in between service time (especially now they have increased) it is his/her responsibility to check various things on there car. But as their generally too bone idle to do so the increase in tyre wear on flat tyres (especially with the current trend in run flats) means increased cost in replaced tyres when they start moaning tyres are not lasting as long. Then the hidden cost extra mpg due to running on under inflated tyres oh and then there’s the safety implications of all these vehicles running round on underinfated tyres.
As for auto stop start it’s a great idea. if your engine runs a 800rpm at idle then if you can switch it off at every opportunity then why worry about the increased wear of a starter motor at a few hundred quid when not only have you saved a shed load on fuel but you’ve stopped a many thousand pound component wearing while your sat at the lights picking your nose :-)

I had several 210’s last year and it was a reasonable size great to wear as just a watch and did everything I wanted for running. Downside was the screen kept fogging up inside. Was replaced with a new one which also kept fogging up. Sent away for reconditioning and came back worse than before.
I eventually ended upgrading to the 610 at my expense with all the postage with the other watches probably paid well over the odds:-( I know its a bit more expensive but the 610 I find really good and worth the extra penny’s and have never had any fogging problems.
I would avoid the 210 unless you know this fogging issue has been sorted
I would recommend this lot their customer service was top and sorted out all my problems.

The bloke hosting the show got more and more annoying…

you mean… Sir Adam Buxton?! have some respect.

Yep that’s him became increasingly irritating the longer the show went on. If this his general patter then I doubt I’ll be tuning in very often.

Listened for the first time yesterday alright to start but then the A&E show started was a weird experience where the conversation almost sounded radio 4 then they would play good music that didn’t match the voices really weird.
The bloke hosting the show got more and more annoying the longer we listened and Edith just wittered on as annoyingly as she did on radio 1.
I have been trying to choose a new station since Grimmy started on R1 he’s just to camp for my ears 1st thing in the morning

New key if it’s the battery that’s gone. I take it the other key is working if not it could be another issue. The batteries charge in the slot and aren’t replaceable. the video above is for cars with comfort access which is a optional extra and has an extra battery in the key to allow you to lock/unlock the car without pressing the buttons on the key.

If you like good food, micro brewed beer, friendly locals, mountains, lakes, rivers, forests, maple syrup and singletrack, then you will love the place.

Sounds like my sort of place.
We have family in Mentor near Cleveland (and no we didn’t go to the rock museum:-) We did New York, Finger lakes, Cleveland,Hawk mountain Penn and then back to NY. Been to the States a few times now and never thought i would say it but have enjoyed every trip.

I only do on line play keep buying other games but it’s COD everytime for me. Don’t get Halo at all you just seem to lumber around and bounce up and down but like I say I don’t bother with campaigns. I did think assassins creed was pretty good though.

I have just bought a Gaggia MDF burr grinder £133 off Amazon . It’s grind is consistent everytime. The doser is something that gets some criticism from reviews and does take a little practice to master but for the money I’m more than happy with the purchase. There are about a gazillion settings and it goes down really fine for espresso which is the criticism of the cheaper grinder. I now get fresh tasting espresso.

Not sure why you’d want to buy coffee beans from Costa SB’s Nero etc when there are so many local roasters on line that offer so much more in quality and choice and more importantly freshness.

i’m a stonemason. limestone is very porous, but not uniformly so. i suspect there was a tear in the dpm that went under the concrete that it’s sitting on and moisture is being drawn up through the most porous bit.
difficult to say though, i would want to lift the hearth to be sure.

Hi Jonah This sounds the most plausible thing but what I don’t understand is that the hearth is sat on a wooden floor and I’m pretty sure that there is an open space under it so if the membrain is split then I’m not too sure how the water is getting in under the hearth.

When I rubbed my hand over the patch my hand did smell of damp stone afterwards. Do you think the mark would go if the damp was stopped? It does have a brown tinge though.
The guy who looked at it said it’s possibly iron coming out of the limestone Not sure if this is a possibility or just flannel. I assume the concrete should be dry under the hearth after nearly a year?
    Cheers for the help Steve

Might be from the hearth being bedded down on mortar or something similar to fix and level it in place?

Yeah this was suggested at the start but would this still be damp underneath after a year and drawing the nasties up? My Dad reckons the guy had told him that he had to build the level up on the otherside more so I would have expected the mark to have been on that side if it was a mortar issue but I’m no expert

What sort of fire do you have?

Fire is electric so that’s not the problem.
Picture is from after may dad wiped down the hearth with a damp cloth I’ll try and get the worst picture off him today. There is definatly something coming up from either inside the hearth or under it.
it’s difficult to see on this picture but the mark started off as a mark about the size of a mug and has spread over time

I would also strongly recommend a tripod.
    Really?
I’ve never, ever used one and never felt the need for one.

Depends what sort of photos you want to take does it not? If you have a larger lens or even take photo’s in lower light then your unlikely to keep the camera still and end up with blurry pictures. I excuse my noviceness.
You obviously have a steadier hand than me :-)
This is one of my first water photos last weekend. Canon 1100d

Bought a Canon 1100d (canons entry level dslr)a few weeks ago as a complete novice to dslr photography. I have been really happy with it so far. I had an slr years ago but never got to grips with it and had a 300mm lens which fits the new dslr which is a Brucie bonus for sure. You might find your old lenses still fit. I payed £318 for it from Jessops online. They do a slightly more expensive package with the image stabilizing lens.
Don’t forget you might also need a bag a decent SD card that’s quite fast and has decent storage. I would also strongly recommend a tripod.
Anyway really happy with the results I’m getting with mine so far.
I might have looked at the Nikon d3100 if I hadn’t have already had a Canon 300mm lens
