Cheers Iainc difficult thing is the lack of bikes to try especially as I’ve never even sat on one so as a first timer its a bit of a mindboggler :-)

Fair do’s I am very unlikely to race more an alternative to the MTB so I can blast around but still want to do a bit of off road stuff.
This was why I was swaying toward the Vapour Vapour14
As sad as this sounds I’m put off that pinnicale purely because of the gash colours on the sticker (sad I know:-) especially as the Vapour is bright blue.

I’m having similar thoughts but finding it difficult to choose as a first time cyclocrosser or ever roadie type.
Torn between the Orange RX9 but am put off that it doesn’t have a carbon fork.
The Genesis Vapour the Giant (but this isn’t avaliable until end January)
    Or the Planet X thing.
    Oooh so difficult to decide.

Are there any problems that need to be considered (I’m assuming not) when moving from another country like England say Other than the banter are there any issues with National insurance and that sort of serious stuff?

Please tell us that you are doing a poor job of trying to be a Troll?

    EERrr NO!!

As an Isle Of Man resident there can be regional differences in certain things like health care, pensions, tax even work permits (obviously not in this case) I’m sure there are difference in costs of the likes of pescriptions from England to Scotland.
Maybe you should ask why or just plan think rather than calling someone a TROLL but thanks for Stirling contribution to my thread it was well worth your effort and highly informative!!

One thing to to consider is that they are hard work so if time is a premium then it might not be for you especially if it’s a full size plot.
We have one Mrs Eruptron does most of the work but it is very rewarding if you stick to it.
On what to grow stick to what you like. It’s easy to start growing masses of things then get a freezer full of SPROUTS
we mainly stick to spuds, peas, onions and garlic. Sunflowers, sweetpeas and other flowers for cutting. Cucumber, chilli tomatoes in the greenhouse.
If you’ve waited 5yrs then give it a go

In the market for my first digital SLR camera. Any recommendations?

    Is this any good:

    Canon EOS 1100D

I have a 1100d and as a starter it does what I want and it’s a good price and takes good pictures. Had it about 6 months and no complains I do have the 300mm lens as well which makes a big difference.
If your going to mainly use the auto settings to start off with and while you get used to the manual settings why pay any more to start off.

Guy on program is disgusted at the fact the car he brought with 100+k on the clock car has fault and manufacturer won’t pay for repair. Didn’t tell us how many miles the car had done when the fault occurred or even if he had ever been inside a BMW dealership.
I wonder how many of these people took the offer of extending the warranty on their vehicles when the manufacturer offered it?
Some manufacturers have very good goodwill policies I have benefited from Panasonics myself but if you expect goodwill should you not expect to show them loyalty? You can’t expect to get work done by fred in the shed then expect the manufacturer to give you goodwill (whatever the product) unless there is a recall issue.
Would it happen in your line of work?

    Paul lake’s
I have a read this and found it a really good read. I was part of his journey watched as a City fan when he swallowed his tongue against Leicester and at the game when he got the injury that finished his pro playing days against Aston Villa.
An absolutely fantastic player and I have no doubt he would have captained England if he hadn’t have been so unlucky.
This book made be laugh and cry and I think this would be a good read even if you aren’t a City fan Paul Lake comes across as the normal bloke who got what most of us wish for and play for his team shame City contributed to the poor treatment of his injury (Peter Swales has a lot to answer the tight b*stard)

I’m a City fan and hope he doesn’t get sacked although if he doesn’t he needs to adapt the team to get some speed to attack teams on the break. Things are just to slow and deliberate.

Dont think it is too kneejerk a decison – for the money spent at City the football they play is poor and they have done dreadfully in the champions league. If anything the owners have been pretty patient with him

This is bull the football we play has seen us win the FA cup the league come 2nd this season in both the FA cup and the league in the last two years. Arsenal fans may have a different view regarding pretty football!
Could you tell me how much money we spent when Utd were spending 10 mill plus on Ferdinand,Veron,Van Nistalrooy,Rooney,York,Staam all those years ago. So to imply that City are the only club to be spending money is an opinion born from reading too much anti City media crud!!
Omar could you tell everyone who was in our CL group?

Thought they’d never spent a penny!!
Well done!! The most consistent team over the season.

Utd fan so obsessed with City has to start thread MAN CITYYY!!!
rather than we’ve won the title. bit weird!
