Eruptron – the funny little dance would be the seventh inning stretch.
There’s also a quaint song they sing at the start.

That’s the one. Had no prior warning so it was a WTF moment. But a great day out.

A big yes from me, we did a game at Cleverland Indians. Sat in the bleachers the temp was 100.I didn’t think I would enjoy it but it was ace. The highlight was 2 blokes wrestling on the floor for a ball that was hit for a HR then a small kid ran up and nipped in and had the ball away. Comical.
There was the crowd booing at another fan for not throwing another HR ball back from the opposition.Crowd etiquet was really interesting.
They also had some sort of dance thing after 7 1/2 innings which apparently was half time 8O
I was only disappointed to not get a baseball cap with 2 tins of beer and a straw.

We love her but our ageing tabby, has now decided that wailing for her breakfast between 5-6am, is now the accepted form. She gone deaf, so volume is an issue…

We have the very same problem. Our old git Gizmo is now over 19 and is deaf as a post. Can’t jump up on much cause of her arthritic back end. She’s happy enough pottering around but the noise she makes is horrendous especially at 5.45
WAWAWAWOOOOOOOOOW is the usual tone until she see’s you then she gives a little meow. Barmy old bugger haha

We have this;- Opticron ES80 GA ED Angled Telescope
We’ve had it over 15 years and it’s been brilliant.
You do need to have a look yourself. You will need to try angled or straight and decide what lens/es you want.
Decent Tripod and hide clamp if you haven’t got any of this already.
used this lot at the time and for Bino’s which we got second hand so worth a look if you’re in the area.

It’s ok when the service is working. We had as similar experience as the OP last year when we moved and they left us high and dry over Christmas. In the end took the complain to the CEO who’s complains manager kept trying to phone me on the wrong number and wondered why she couldn’t get hold of us. Summed up the whole experience at the time. Been ok since the service was up and running

How many times have they used the expediting word? How I now hate that word lol.

Garmin for me. Always used Garmin. Father in Law having to be the exception bought a Tom Tom despite all the family being familiar with Garmin.
Had a look at the Tom Tom he bought it just didn’t feel as easy to use as the Garmin either on the device or the computer. Probably what I’m use to but which ever you choose just make sure you get lifetime mapping updates.
Should get a good unit for far less than your budget.

Worked with a bloke who was such hard work, to be polite.
His nickname was Daisy because some DAYS HE would help/talk to you. Some DAYS HE wouldn’t.
Also worked at a place that never introduced new staff. I would give these unfortunates a name that fitted, Harold is still called Harold 15 years or so later. He’s really called Mark  Can’t remember what smelly Len’s real name was.

I feel sorry for city fans, and I really mean that. A club that was once seen as a proper football club, living in the shadow of a corporate behemoth, and now…. They are more despised than Chelsea by your average football goer. Sad that.

Don’t feel sorry for City fans they know their roots and where they’ve come from and believe me they would rather be in that position winning trophies than playing Macc on a damp winters afternoon. (and I mean no disrespect to Macc as I used to watch them before moving)
The hatred for City is only that of the weak minded who have been completely brain washed by certain media and there love of what they consider the top 4.
Such a shame because if one of these so called teams had done as much in such a short period of time they’d whip themselves into a frenzy.
Check out the training complex and the jobs that have been created in Manchester a positive that MCFC have made that will get little exposure.
So no don’t feel sorry for us as it’s going ok so far

Anyway, you seem to be feeling slightly sorry for RS Eruptron, possibly time to recalibrate your empathy

Nope I’m not his biggest fan. There is however 2 sides to every story we only have the one the media would like us to believe. If he provides the counter attacking speed that City have lacked in the last few years when teams come and get 11 men behind the ball then this this could be a very exciting move.
We will also find out in the coming days and weeks the class of our media and LFC.
    It will be very interesting.

The whole episode has been born of HIS neediness

As I said Press talk and speculation we really don’t know what’s really gone on.
If it was the other way round this would have been dealt with by the media in a completely different manner.
Rather than trying to destroy the lad as one of England’s brightest prospects like they have with nearly ever other before him the English media should hope he goes to a club where he is content and he fulfills his potential.

Do you have insider knowledge of this ‘treatment’? Interested to know what you mean.

Nope it’s as well documented as him being a whinging whiner. Press talk and speculation. Unless you have insider knowledge that gives you your opinion?. Other than that it’s all opinion on a forum.
I’m just trying to balance the thing out as it’s two sided thing like when any employee falls out with their employer.

To be fair Liverpool fans were telling us this boy was the next best thing a few months ago and wouldn’t have wanted him to go. He’s now the spawn of Satan receiving racial abuse and abuse towards his family.
He’s been treated poorly by Liverpool whatever the media try to tell us. They didn’t put down a decent contract so he told them he’s off so the fault is at the feet of LFC.
They and their fans will now demonise this lad while holding a candle up to a player that has been banned for racial comment and had a habit of biting his opponents and undoubtedly cost them the league with what he did and the lengthy bans he received.
It’s a strange world we live in

To be fair he’s playing a different position the point is Liverpool thought they were being smart with him and it’s bitten them on the ar5e.
If any of us had been treated as shoddy has him then we’d have started a thread on here and everyone would have chipped up to say move on get another job.
Why would being a footballer be any different?

    he’s the saviour

Interesting really they’ll pay 28mill and 250k p/w to an unproven Brazilian but they wouldn’t give the going rate to a player they already have.
I think most people in a job would be pretty p!ssed at that.

Another couple and I’ve got a line

    mid-table ambition

    more average players

    .

harping on about how good their history was

[/quote]Isn’t it now traditional for Liverpool to now spank most of that transfer fee on an even bigger donkey

Best warm the banjo up

    eruptron

So Liverpool sell another of their top players proving their mid table ambition.
Brenda can now spend some top dollar on more average players.
Liverpool have manufactured Sterling as the problem when they have been as appalling over the saga as Sterling when maybe he’s just got more desire to win things and improve himself.
He’d gone as far as he could with Liverpool and he’d told them so in February He want’s chance to win things not to listen to people harping on about how good their history was.
Maybe he wants chance to have a little bit of his own history.
He also doesn’t get on with his manager allegedly and if anyone else didn’t I guess they’d get a new job.
City may have paid over the odd’s but that’s the price you pay for home grown players.
He’s 20 so if he reaches the potential that is clearly there then City could have a player that could help them to more silverware for the next 10 years which would make his fee look like a drop in the ocean.
Now he’s left one of the Sky 4 then he’ll get his character slaughtered by the media. So I hope he has thick skin and we’ll really see what character he has.

Ours has been fed on dry for most of her life with wet stuff more as a treat. Lots of kak in some of the foods. So read the packets. When ours were on just wet things were more messy/smelly if you get my drift 8O dry pretty much stopped that :-)
She’s nearly 19 now so can’t be too far wrong.

sounds like they have a track record of getting spec’s wrong. In that case i’ll be less sympathetic when I raise it with them. It’s proper poor quality from one of the supposedly premium manufacturers out there, i’m very surprised. When I was doing my degree we studied car transfer lines and how they operated and I struggle to see how they could have got something as fundamental as the car spec wrong – they must have some proper issues with their supply chain management.

Assuming it wasn’t the dealer that didn’t tick the right box when ordering.

    properbikeco
    * btw anything can be retrofitted if you want it enough – remember this, it can be expensive so don’t let them fob you off with a cheap alternative

This is not always the case especially with dealer spec retrofit.

We got cheap flights to Munich then the train out to Ruhpolding. Transport was really easy train from airport U-S Bahns were really efficient. Ruhpolding had an Xcard this was part of the B&B which allowed free local bus around the valley and train to traunstien which is the local hub. can then go to Lake Chiemsee,Munich,Salzburg and everything inbetween.
The Xcard bused us to places in the Ruhpolding valley area to start walks(even got a discounted bus trip to Saltzberg with the xcard only 5euros each). Add in a few ski lifts plenty to get at. We walked about 58 miles in 10 days including some good walks around Munich.
One of the things about a really good holiday was the ease off getting around. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Can’t comment on tent usage though.

We had a 10 year old AEG which was ace until the bearings went. We now have a new AEG which is so quiet that all you hear is the water and cloths sloashing around so would recommend an AEG. Think ours was in the 500 quid bracket but got it under the insurance when the old one packed in.
