    I’ve just bought some specalized defroster boots and they are far better than overshoes or sealskin socks which don’t seem to stay waterproof for long

    My freelander manual does 40 mpg and ever never had problems getting around in the lakes in the snow with Goodyear wranglers on,got up and down the struggle out of Ambleside in the snow

    I’ve also go a thule 9503 ride on rack,I’ve done thousands of miles with mine with no problems,the tilt function is a bit of a pain to use though.
