Well I’ve got the green light :D
Just need to check out if my headset fits etc & then the orders going in .
Then I need to decide which colour – I was duck egg blue all the way earlier , but the green’s growing on me now
Cancellara went down , but he’s ok ( be aching in the morning though ) – all the other main contenders are ok ( I think ) .
One rider went down & then wallop!
I’m sure that i’d read that the Solaris frame would take a 2.4 no problem .
I was also looking at the Stanton sherpa , but at this price it looks like my mind’s made up ( just need to persuade the other half now )
Bloody dreamt of mornings like this when commuting in the winter – 6am with my shorts & t-shirt on ….love it ! ( needed a change of clothes & plenty of deodorant when i got to work like )
Enjoyed Paloma & looking forward to Suede. Bit sick of seeing Burt Backache now though ..feel like I’ve seen his set 3 times ( & the singers were pants)
I got some last year in a halfords sale just to give them a go – great decision ( for once !) . Far comfier than the padded inners i once swore by …..i’m definitely not going back .
RL player Richard Moore was diagnosed this whilst at Wakefield a few years ago – he lost a LOT of weight initially, but once they’d sorted him out ( medication wise ) he returned to the game with Wakey & went on to play for Leeds ( & is still playing now ).
I risk it all on a morning & ride through Portobello to get to Pugneys – i’ll keep my eyes peel’ed ….there’s probably a good chance of it being there somewhere
It was ( like others have said ) an incredible thing to watch – you couldn’t believe the calmness of everyone as they were pretty much performing heart surgery in the middle of London .
Huge respect to everyone in that profession .
But they’re sat at the side of the bank ,so what difference is camo gear going to make ( unless i’m underestimating the eyesight of your average fish )?
