I’d like to see more of them riding rather than cooking tbh . I think there’s too much of this along with general chit chat instead of showing us the trails & centre .
Watchable though having said all that , just find it trying to be a bit dreamy/arty for my taste.
Nowt else like it though, so I’ll take what i can .

Bought a light off him 3 years ago . Had a problem with the charger initially , but he swapped it straight away & I haven’t had a problem since.
I’d use him again without hesitation

Spitting in the street seems to be acceptable nowerdays too – find it quite disgusting/antisocial myself, but maybe I’m just showing my age

I have . I thought it was going to drag a little, but it’s actually got better imo with lots of twists like you say .
Don’t mind watching Anna Friel for an hour either if I’m honest.

Didn’t know that mefty ( obviously ) – thanks for clearing that up .
There’s bound to be some documentary’s on Sky soon telling us the true stories etc about the man ( hopefully anyway ).

That’s a shame – one of the best ever to play the game imo .

Strong in his belief’s too – refused to play in the 1978 world cup as he opposed the Argentinian regime at the time .

Sorry to jump in , but if Cowman or Woody2000 could put a link or two up that would be great . My wife’s at Huddersfield Uni on a Saturday once every couple of months & i’ve thought about going Mirfield way from Grange Moor in some kind of loop & then going back for her later .

    Thanks

I got a turntable for my birthday last year & i love it . Ride on a Saturday morning , then clean the bikes in the cellar listening to all my old stuff .
I’m lucky that we’ve an excellent shop in Wakefield ( Wah Wah Records ) that stocks a lot of what i like & so every time i go into town they get a visit .
Going to end up costing a fair bit in the long run though – fancy a better player in the front room & they cost a fair bit for something decent ( more than a Shimano xt m8000 groupset for instance ! )

I’m the same as bentandbroken – Omeprazol ( incorrect spelling i’m sure !) seem to do the trick . I’ve mentioned it to the doctor in the past & he wasn’t overly concerned .
I seem to get it more when i’m tired & not so much with what i’ve eaten .

I know i should , but hardly ever drink it – probably why i feel so tired later in the day !

Once had a drunken ebay moment and bought a long sleeved , woolen TI- Raleigh top that i’d so much wanted when i was a kid .
” It’ll look great that whilst going through the woods ” i said to myself ……never worn the bloody thing …reyt waste of money !

Just converted to tubeless purely & simply for the reason of avoiding punctures .
I don’t really mind sorting one out on a nice warm Saturday morning with nothing to get home for , but not at 6 o’clock in January on my way to work .

Hose pipes all ready for when i get home – blast all the main crap off the bike & then my clothes , take them down into the cellar to dry off .
All nice & dry for the morning , then repeat the process when i get home .

I don’t touch the pads & just wipe off the rotors with a clean piece of kitchen paper when they’ve dried .
Could be wrong , but works for me .

I went years ago & quite enjoyed it . You’d probably like the big church that has/had the 3rd biggest domed roof in the world .
From memory it was the place of the miracle of Malta where a bomb came through the roof during the war , packed congregation but never went off ( obviously ).

I’m going to try & set my wheels up tubeless tomorrow with the air line here …..sod all else to do !

You can take the mick shandcycles , but from my experience i wouldn’t go near one ( thrown off twice on a v. busy A road – cuts/bruising etc. ) – obviously other people have got on with them fine .
It seems like a brilliant idea & the low maintenance was half the reason i bought the bike .
Others have found it to be ok , so maybe i was just unlucky eh ?

Avoid at all costs i’d say .
They might have improved , but i had one on a Trek District & twice the belt suddenly slipped off or jammed or something & threw me off in traffic .
Seriously lucky to be here to tell the tale .
I checked the tension with a special gauge etc. , but ended up selling in the end as i dare’nt ride it . Constant peddaling seemed ok , but it was when you set off & the sudden downward force must’ve thrown it off line or something .

I think synthetics definitely the way to go from what i’ve read – far easier to wash etc.
