That’s why i posted originally just to see if there was anyway of finding out OR finding out if others are having the same problems getting their loan money . Like i’ve said previously that this could just be the case , but i’d have thought that it would’ve been sorted by November .
Cougar – it’s just made life easier in the past tbh , if he makes a transfer there’s usually a follow up phone call from the bank ( bit ridiculous for a 20 yr old i know ) .

Just read what you’d put Houns . I’ve got to be honest , it might well just be that – he’s never stumbled for an answer if i’ve dropped it into a conversation in the past but he’s so laid back he never looks worried about anything !

Thanks for the replies everyone . Don’t worry i’m not going to go ballistic with him , ill just be disappointed that he hasn’t let us know & hasn’t talked it out . He’s still living at home so it’s not like he’s at the other end of the country getting hammered every day ,but with the travel restrictions he’s maybe thinking he can get away with it as he won’t have to go in .
As regards his student loan he’s let his mum know his bank details in the past so if he ever needs to transfer any money over to us she can – so she had a sneaky look to confirm – not great i know .
Time for a chat tonight i think .

I ride along a path that joins the clubhouse to the course I used to play & it’s always busy .
Packed in about 4 years ago – my mate and I could get round quite comfortably sub 3 hours with a clear run ( not rushing ) . This became rarer than rocking horse poo unfortunately & we were regularly stuck behind folk who thought that 4 -5 hours was what you do & never ever thought about letting us play through . Just ended up saying sod it

Maybe should have given a few more details – it’ll be 240v Ac from the plug in the wall but needs to convert into 12v DC to go into the preamp .

It came with a uk adapter but it won’t change the power though so I don’t want it to go bang .

Good to know that its changed then and I’m not imagining it – downside is trying to find something as good ( might try Peatys )

That’s the problem really at the moment I suppose , by the time I’ve had chance to try something the deal will be off

I was thinking more along the lines of ” I can’t decide which tyre to buy between these two ,what do you think ?” Big Bud – I’d then proceed in buying said tyre & not hot footing off home & saving a couple of quid on the internet. This is unfortunately the way of the world it seems at the mo & is killing off businesses like Garage .

Only went there a couple of times as it was a bit out of the way – but for customer service & free advice they’d have to be hard to beat .
    Sad to hear really.😞

I’ve suggested that , & that’s the way I’d go personally, but he wants to buy new ( could afford to spend a lot more too the tight git !)

Well done everyone- it’s still there on Earlham Street .
Only had chance for a quick look as we got there just as it was closing so going back today . They didn’t seem to have any vintage stuff anymore, but maybe I missed it .
Brilliant little area by the way – great looking buildings all over when you take notice .
