    My Stanton Sherpa Gen 1.

I’m actually in a pickle at the moment as i have a Specialized Chisel sat in the cellar doing nothing – so do i sell it and then spend the money on the Sherpa and give it an upgrade, or just strip down the Chisel and bung the parts on the Sherpa and then sell the frame 🤷🏼‍♂️

Same weight as when it finished originally two weeks ago – i’m more than happy with that considering what i’ve eaten/drunk in the meantime.

Bugger – i’ve only just seen that it’s carried on so didn’t even bother weighing myself last week. I’ll see what the scales say in the morning and log it down, but just miss a week … slightly concerned about what i’ll see having said that.

Oh well, that’s that then. Looking back i’d given myself a completely unrealistic target weight to begin with – what i’d like to be instead of what i could realistically lose. I’ll be 56 in April and to be honest i’ve found it hard to shift weight the last few years, but i’ve nearly a stone down since the start and still losing every week, so i’m still quite chuffed. Hopefully i can push on now and lose the rest.
    Well done everyone.

I’ve stuck todays weight down and trying to get off to a flyer …. there’s a lot to shift!

Thanks coconut for doing this again, much appreciated.

Just filled in my details – fingers crossed this goes better than previous (although i do feel a lot more motivated than before).
    Good luck fellow chubsters.

A week in Italy certainly hasn’t helped my cause ! – I think i’m pretty much back to where i was in January (the food and wines were amazing though so not feeling too bad about it 😉).

I’ve just added my weight to the next column – same as the last two weeks unfortunately 🤦‍♂️

Thumbs up from me dannybgoode if you don’t mind? – i’ve been a bit hit and miss to be honest and am going away for a week at Easter, so this may well be a big help when i get back!

Ground to a halt again, but considering the crap i ate (& drank if i’m honest)last weekend it’s not a bad result to be honest.

I wasn’t shifting anything but then my wife asked me about the nuts I was taking to snack on at work & was I eating them in one go ? I was, but it turns out there was about 400 cals in that little tub – stopped talking them this week and lost 2lb near enough!

Slightly off tack, but if you can find Guy Martin’s Great Escape on catch up (all4 maybe ?) then in between the motorbike bits then there’s a lot of interesting historical pieces to watch (hidden maps in uniforms, visits to the tunnels etc.). There’s input from Guy Walters who wrote The Real Great Escape also- which i bought on the back of watching this.
    Remarkable stuff.

I’ve been living like a monk all week and been on the turbo trainer every night – bacon & egg sarnie for breakfast if the weigh in doesn’t go well in the morning 😉.

Says a hell of a lot about comedy/comedians nowadays that this is a tv highlight on Xmas day – Blankety Blank on Xmas night too.

Absolutely love it & I’ve managed to get through episodes 1-3 of this series today while Mrs E has been out and about.
No spoilers, but it looks like it’ll be as good as ever

Pffffftttttt…..heavier than when i started despite riding more.
Calorie logging from now on, see what happens then 😕

My name has disappeared from last weeks list somehow so i’ve just bunged it down at the bottom.
Probably being a bit optimistic with my target as i seem to have plateaued for a few weeks now so might well need to amputate something to make the weight ….but hey ho, i’ll give it a go.

“Summer Chubb Club” definitely gets my vote. I haven’t lost as much as I wanted, but logging a weight every week will give a bit more of a motivational kick up the backside to keep going.
Well done to all who’ve kept going.

I bought a Specialized Chisel for £850 from Bike24 last year. I know a hell of a lot’s changed since then but delivery was quick, reasonably priced and I received tracking updates throughout, so I’d definitely use them again….might be worth a look?

    Damn you Bank Holiday !!
Pretty much ate and drank what i wanted for 5 days, so no surprise at a gain again despite 2 rides .
Back on the straight and narrow from now on so hopefully back under 90kg again next week.

After putting 2lbs on the week before I was chuffed to bits to lose 4 this . No big secret , just cut down on my portion size and hey presto!
Thumbs up from me about the date extension – May looks more realistic to get to my target if I’m honest.

My metabolism isn’t the fastest anyway to be honest- just hoping everything gets a good shake about on the bike in the morning

I know I’m not tbh doomanic , but I’ve done it the same way before and lost weight ok . The wife is on it ( pretty much) full time so I just go along with it to help out meal wise & it usually kicks in on a Wednesday….just seem to be clogging up this time for some reason (?)

Lost 1lb this week- not too bad since I haven’t had a proper number two since Monday (doing keto during the week ) .
Been on the magnesium tablets with no effect ,so upping it to something more effective next week.
Happy enough with a pound a week but my stomach feels constantly full .

Seem to get bunged up midweek all the way to weighing day – be blasting out over the weekend (hopefully) – nothing lost but nothing gained this week.

I’m certainly not going to say I’m disappointed with him , in fact I feel quite the opposite – we’re , as parents just concerned that he’s not making a mistake that will hurt his career down the line .

1 We’re not operating his bank account for him
2 With everything that’s happening i can imagine things would need setting up at the uni’s end – online classes etc.
3 That’s the worrying thing -IF he’s quit then why couldn’t he tell us ?
