here’s another to throw into the ring……..olympus 420 is a very good camera also. You may find however you’ll ‘grow out’ of these cameras quite soon and need to buy another to suit your needs very quickly, personally i’d recommend either the 450D, D60 or A350 the latter 2 both have cashback on them just now, £30 on the nikon, £50 on the sony.

sounds normal, i’ve done that to plenty of unreliable ‘friends’ i just dont reply to texts, voice messages, etc. One guy i’ve done this too still comes into my work about once a month to shake my hand for some reason – i dont get it!!! he’s even invited me to his wedding in september, if anything substantial happened in my life i wouldn’t even send him a text now, really dont understand him, maybe i should just spell it out to him? lol

Anyway, don’t feel bad as they wont!

the poor battery life is the main concern with this phone, also the touch interface isn’t as good as the iphone/touch and texting/writing email can be slow……everything but the battery will be sorted once firmware updates become available though, just the battery is a worry IMO.

do a search on ‘jcb phone’ they are indestructable but thay aint cheap and dont offer a great deal of functions.

the best thing to do is find a reasonably steep hill of say at least 2km and rid up an down it as hard as you can for as long as you can – probably manage 30-40 mins that should do it. i usually find my max running is higher than my max on the bike though, so do the running thing if your a runner as well.

i have an nc10 and i also sell ’em for a living – at the mo its certainly head and shoulders above the rest although i do hear that a sony model is around the corner……thats gonna be nice, may be worth the wait, who knows?

i know when i switched provider the amount i owed was transferred to the new provider. your local citizens advice will be able to give you sound advise but they are also regulated (offgen??) so try them through the website. is it a lot of money they claim you owe?
