I built my wife a bike, cost less than £400, few choice parts and a few spares from the man cave and she has a bike that fits her, jump frame, 1×9, elixir brakes and recon forks. And I have a smaller bike to take to a pump track when the mood suits with just a change of saddle 😉

Hadley? Love mine on flow rims, prefer them to the dt 240’s on my other bike.

Depends where you ride, the peaks varies massively, so you could choose routes that suit your bike, I wouldn’t fancy riding a few of the descents on a rigid, tho no doubt some jive turkey will be along in a bit to tell you they smoked some downhillers on their rigid singlespeed and you don’t need anything else!

Everything at coed y Brenin is designed to be rideable obviously not the case in the peaks and you will be off and walking up and down to start with.

    Hope that helps

Yes, just add in baby due in the next couple of weeks and I think the only answer is to work less to fit in playing gta 5!

Yep, in the park park bit, there’s a bit between markers 10 and 11 I think where a sign offers you 2 choices, right to carry on the red trail or left to the bike park, that’s where the wide wooden sections and small rock drops are

Grew up there, sandal beat wood by the race course is good for a blast about in, not much in the way of hills, kings wood out towards bawtry is similar, Also you can ride out towards conisbrough, there is some good stuff in steetly quarry. Other than that just explore the bridle ways and nip into the woods.

Easily doable, I’m overweight and had to fill in for my dad to do the Lincoln 10k a couple of months back, no running for 12 months or more, did a practice 5 miles on the Friday and then the 10k on the Sunday, ache for a few days afterwards tho!

Testosterone productions works on a negative feedback loop to the hypothalamus, so if you artificially add testoerone to your system it will reduce how much you produce naturally. However if that is already low the risks to health and co-morbidity associated with hypogonadism are far out weighed by treatment. And due to this feedback loop you would start producing your own testosterone again if you stopped.

The OP’s level is low enough to probably not be rectified by first and exercise alone and if his levels have been low for a while he should notice a big difference after a few weeks of treatment and never look back.

Good luck tomorrow with the test and if you are referred to an endocrinologist don’t be frightened to discuss the treatment options with them and usually they will have a specialist nurse who can go through the options with you as well.

I used to work in this area a couple of years back and your level is low, but it tends to be the symptoms that would provoke treatment rather that the testosterone level.

Sustanon Injections were the gold standard but I think they withdrew the lower dose and now everyone gets the 250 dose, be aware that because you get them every 3 weeks you start with a high week, a normal week and a low week so you’ll get peaks and troughs in your mood.

The other injectable option to discuss with your doctor is Nebido which is every 3 months but you would have to go to hospital for the injection unless your surgery can provide this. It’s quite a big injection and once it’s in there is no getting the drug back out if you had a problem.

While gels may seem like hassle they actually best mimic the way your body produce testosterone by giving you a boost in the morning and the drops throughout the day. And once you get used to it, it’s no different from anything else just part of your daily routine. Skin reactions are fairly common but usually disappear with persistent use.

Patches offer the easiest option, stay on for a while and no needles but its the glue on the patch that causes the reactions on the skin and usually won’t go away, and seen as this is a bike forum if you are out riding and getting sweaty they may not stay stuck on.
Luckily they stopped making the patches that you stuck on your scrotum!

If you would like any more info drop me an email and I will do my best to answer you as best I can.

Cheers, function over fashion, I don’t mind the look of the el guapo and it rides better than it looks, think the purple forks might just be a bit offensive, but if they are as good as people say I will probably not care how it looks

Not loads there but a couple of singletrack runs in the woods, think its an unmarked 8km red trail goes around the outside of the lake path. First run is on the right as you come in before you get to the bridge that goes to the visitor centre, and another on is further round the lake and over a bridge to the right that’s signed as national cycle route 6, that section has just been rebuilt with a few rock drops and small jumps in.

it starts at the bottom of the bike park, you take a left away from the trail and go under the bridge, then just follow the signs. its a nice ride on a sunny day.

im exactly the same height and inside leg as you and I ride a 17.5″ BFe but that was because I wanted a larger frame for xc ish duties and didn’t want to shell out for a soul.

always ridden 16″ hardtails in the past and I don’t notice that much difference so a 16″ should be fine with a longish seatpost

I know someone who doesn’t consider it a proper ride unless he’s pinched one out in the woods trail side, a roll of andrex is a permanent part of the gear he carries in his camelbak!

Do you mean 30.9? If so USE do a plastic shim, got mine from winstanleys for £7-8 I think, use it for a carbon seatpost in a bfe but have used my reverb in it as well!

I’ve got an sram s2200 crankset, which is basically the same as the X0 except it came with a double ring and bash which is the usual 64/104 bcd. I think the X0 is double is a larger bcd but this can be swapped as the spider is held on by 3 bolts so if you fancy a change you can swap it out.

I also use the raceface rubber end caps.

Have a look at some kcnc or similar alloy jockey wheels, might not be cheaper but will last a lot longer than the plastic ones that come with a mech, also find they clog less too!
