I had a carrera subway 24 mile commute each day it never let me down and only a few minutes slower than my carbon road bike. Wish I had never sold it, I’m buying another one very soon, they are under £200 at the moment worth every penny IMO

This is what happens when you lend your car to the wife. She only had it for an hour

I bought a nice little car off Godzilla a few years ago. My wife put about a tenners worth of diesel in it. I brimmed it up with petrol straight away. All was fine until it went for an mot and it had buggered the catalitic converter when it happened. Still haven’t forgotten about it and my wife still owes me a car

Just fitted one a few hours ago. From what I can gather you start counting the turns as soon as the spring is in contact with the collar

I bought an old diesel Toledo a few years ago for £500 with 174000 miles on the clock. I had over 2 years trouble free motoring and nearly 50mpg until the cambelt snapped, so yea it’s possible if you look hard enough

As a upvc fabricator for over 15 years, I have seen a lot of different types of window and I have never seen an even half decent window from any national company. Go to an independent company that doesn’t spend £££ on advertising. I believe the windows at the small firm I work for are among the best in the country, we rarley advertise and currently have a lead time of over 12 weeks. Do some research of your local firms and stay away from national company’s. They are all about making money and will forget about you as soon as the job is done

Present situation is the most awkward / horrible part of getting married. We didn’t ask for anything when we got wed last year because we weren’t bothered. Most people however gave us cash or vouchers in the end as we have just about everything we need

I would defo get another ktm enduro bike over a road bike any day. Too many idiots on the road and a big bike is just a licence loser

Me and my wife are like chalk and cheese, have very little in common yet get along very well, and make each other smile and laugh every day. Couldn’t ask for more to be fair

30t upfront here too. Only just getting up some steep sections but I’m quite heavy and only moderately fit but will never go back to 2×10. It’s like a fresh challenge

Even though you wear it during the day, it is still recommended that you manually wind it up once a week. I have a seiko that has a power reserve of around 40 hours. Yours should be the same I would keep a close eye on it before the warranty runs out

Only thing I ever get a shafting for is leaving socks lying around the house. Socks in every room and I apparently leave them there. Our dog has a thing about taking my socks everywhere but she still thinks it’s me.
