He should have sued Tefal over image rights. (For those old enough to remember the 80’s commercial)

Licensing of cyclists would be near impossible so will never happen, its a pointless petition, but people cycling past pedestrians on the pavement needs to stop, I just don’t get it, the road is literally a foot away from them, I’ve been walking along and some knob as flown by from behind missing me by a few inches, if I’d have reached into my pocket or made any sudden movement or change in direction contact would have been made, and then there’s the moron kids pulling wheelies past people on narrow pavements, a fatality waiting to happen.

Something just popped up on my phone, Sageholm wind n water proof thermal gloves, good down to -30 apparently if you believe everything you read. Might be worth a Google though.

Luckily I’m on first name terms with my local parcelforce guy so trust he won’t do anything shady with my parcels, Hermes courier keeps changing, I’ve had four different guys delivering in the last 18 months. I recently had an issue with the postie when I received an email saying item delivered when it wasn’t, I chased him down thinking he’d put it through the wrong letterbox, he got on his phone to find out what happened then about 20 minutes later a royalmail van that had already done its deliveries on my street pulled up with my parcel, don’t know what went wrong there and never will, but thats worrying.

The black with coloured bits aren’t doing it for me, I think the big white 4 on the mc cap ruins it, the silver with blue is the only one I’m liking at the moment.

Looks like the tech4 is available in silver or black and just the mc cap, adjusters and bore caps on the caliper are in colours. Seem available in February looking at Evocycles site.

If you’re going for max colour clashing I’ve got some orange sp41 outer, I can chop a couple metres off the roll for ya.

So is the alloy Mega frame dead, I don’t see the value in the carbon version, a tiny weight saving over alloy for several hundred more.

The cable guides haven’t got a decent coat either, I see the undercoat in several places. Bad coverage, but the patch kinda looks like the clearcoat has gone a bit milky. Looks more amateur than professional, take it back.
Gunky suggests oversprayed but that isn’t the case here.

The angle Verstappen rejoined the track could have caused carnage and deserved an appropriate penalty instead of just giving Redbull the option to give the position back, Verstappen’s driving is right on the edge of legal, the rules need an overhaul to be made a lot clearer before Max kills someone.

IMHO, lose the god awful long bolts thru type that need the cup n cone washers and get a Hope L adapter.

Thats more of a toy shop than a bike shop, useless clueless numpties, Ratcliffes are responsible for the cost of any replacement you get, kick off when they’re busy if they refuse to pay, but I don’t think they’re ever busy.

I’ve never gone under 25psi front and keep the rear close to 30psi using 2.4 tyres and weighing 77kg, I rarely flat or suffer rim dings, I think going as low as you can get away with is the wrong direction, it’s interesting that Danny Hart’s mechanic upped his psi without telling him for his win at Snowshoe.

I was gonna buy one but took umbrage with the lack of any video or in depth instructions in English, typical lazy obnoxious French 🙂, don’t you just remove mc damper leave the oil in, 180ml or 100mm oil height then install the yari up. I went with RC2 2.1 charger in the end as the purple adjuster would also bother me.

Beautiful colour, interesting weld on the shock mount plate, not seen one like that before, cable entry still a bit sticky-outy and bottle cage bosses on the underside of the downtube really need to go.

I’ve used a Delonghi Vento when working in a garage all day installing benches, cupboards and shelving until the late evening, it has three settings and adjustable thermostat and worked really well, only needed to be on the first setting and the thermostat wasn’t even cranked up so they seem fairly economical.

The biggest problem for me is the little nut on the end of the axle, some brands are reverse thread others use normal, its easy to ruin a nut or axle on the first service. The thread into the crank is obvious imo.

Those Trek project one custom paint prices are insane, you’re better off getting it custom sprayed to exactly what you want at fat creations etc, the waiting lists are the real killer though.

I use Blackspire snaggletooth on M8100 with hg+ chain, my Unite ring dropped the chain during a bit of backpedalling in the big cogs, this doesn’t happen with Blackspire, Lewis Buchanan had chain retention issues with the Unite ring during an enduro race a few months back so maybe the tooth profile isn’t as good as others.

I’m currently a 12″ forearm, 13.5″ bicep relaxed and use a Large Gform, slightly too tight on the bicep, I’ve not worked out for a while so they’re a better fit at the moment.
I think most pads are designed around a 1.5″-2″ difference between forearm and bicep, my mate with noodle arms uses Bliss pads and prefers the fit. I’m a medium in Bliss, but the fit is not right for me, I prefer Gform.

As off putting names go, curry yellow is right up there with pus green and vomit beige. 😀
But I like it, I think yellow with matching forks is a good look.

Huge rim decals in orange, yellow, green or pink are hideous. Enve, Reynolds, Six element especially. Also, weird shades of green frames that don’t go with anything.

The blueberry Nukeproof Mega from 2019 was super nice, if the red decals were outline instead of solid colour it would have been near perfect.

If you were that concerned you’d have done the link in the first place, I’d subscribe, but judging by this forum 70% will be about road and gravel bikes and other crap I couldn’t give a toss about, my post was about frames, be a sweetheart and put a saracen frames link up, I’m not that tech savvy, you know you love having digs at people on here so I’ve made your day. Thanks flower.

Sorry I don’t do links you’ll just have to go through the painstakingly, physically and mentally taxing n challenging ordeal of going on Freewheel’s website and tap on the relevant category, good luck n God speed, hope your fingertips survive unscathed. 🙄

Nukeproof horizon V2 alloy currently £40, its a no brainer, nice n light and not harsh, I bought an extra one in 38mm rise last week.

If I remember correctly 25nm was the max I ever went to, that was with shinano, fsa, raceface, middleburn and topline cranks, never had one come loose.
Little bit of grease rubbed between finger n thumb then smear on taper leaving a film of grease.

Hope now do a 2.3mm thick rotor at normal price that might work better with V4’s, saves forking out for the £90 vented ones.

Boost wheel time and possibly boost cranks depending on your current ones and chainline, a good excuse for new beefier fork time as well 😀, you’ll probably have a similar wheelbase to a 2022 with your old fork, but I don’t think offset is a big issue, my mate stuck old 27.5 forks on a new frame made for 37mm offset without noticing any issues. What colour they sending you.

I set the caliper up with the pads out using a feeler gauge to get the gaps even between the rotor and the calipers rotor slots at the front and back, then use the screwdriver behind the pads trick to even the pistons out, sometimes it takes a couple attempts, I’ll take the pads and wheel out to push the pistons back then start again, I dont touch the caliper bolts again, sometimes I’ll put a rubber glove on and push on the rotor while squeezing the lever to tease it over a fraction.
Rotors never seem perfectly true out of the packet, I always end up tweeking them with a rotor tool.

The Norco guy must be insane, how does a £4.5k bike cost £3k to get here, and how the hell has he come to that figure, the build is budget shimano with upgraded XT brakes and a few bits and it’s 2nd hand. You would have to be mental to pay that.

If he’s looking at a thomson elite x4, gram counting is not on his mind, that thing is over 180g.
Edit, got your reply in before me, I got interrupted mid typing.

Same guess here, I was thinking they have similarities to spank hex which are made to their own specs by Tairin, thats what I’ve heard anyway and the rims look as if Fratelli could be making them along with making rims for several other brands.

Gusset s2 or Raceface Atlas, both black and have some detailing but its subtly attractive.

Thats the problem with that design, the bolt only goes in so far leaving the rest supported just by a tube rather than a solid bolt, is the bike a Mettle or are you just using the bolt because it fits, strange choice to have 30×8 at both ends of the shock on the Mettle leaving it prone to bending if you bottom out the shock too much, nukeproof did similar years ago but only at one end, they switched to m8 bolts threaded into the frame mounts, trouble is you’ll have to use nuts which won’t look as nice, you’ll have to work out length needed by how much thread the nut needs to nylon onto, it’s a last resort though as the ti one ordered could hold up better than the original.
