I had a guy and his son come to the door, it was pretty early sunday and I really didn’t get what he wanted for a bit, so I sort of stood there drooling stupidly while he waffled on, then GF appeared at door, pecked me on the cheek, looked at the bloke and said something like

“who’s this, Hun?” to me.

He went very red and dragged his son away pretty quickly

1. don’t deal with it, it’s not your problem, you deal with your emotions, right? then expect the same from her, she’s an adult not a kid.

2. Its a way of trying to manipulate you but they don’t have the emotional strength for the argument or confrontation, or they think they’re not going to get their way, so don’t let them. when they get that sulking isn’t gonna work they’ll have to resort to OMG…actually talking!!

3. consider whether it’s really ok to have to put up with this sort of child/adult stuff in your life. I did for a bit, but I got bored with it.

So, the Stones sounded pretty good actually for a bunch of old geezers, and the crowd ( well the bits I was near) were having a good time….but. It did sound a bit , well, bland really, they’ve nothing new, all the songs they must have played about a million times, and at the next concert they do I’ll bet they play the same songs in the same order with the same “ad libs” were they tried to get the audience to go “woo woo” ( bit awkward that…) compared to Mumford last night who were clearly nervous, they crowd really warmed to them, they put their hearts and souls into it, and they did an amazing set.

be very very careful, if your just starting running, I messed up my ankle good and proper with a pair of Innov8 f195. I ONLY ever run v short distancs in my 195s now (less than 10k, and even then I umm and ahh about it) Thing is when I run I don’t want to have to think about my feet, or where my heel or whatever is doing. At 20 miles my head is defo not about technique it’s all about sandwich making and cake eating!!

While YOU may think is hugely important Molly, that’s how I run, and know I run faster and longer than you…The MOST important thing is make sure YOU are running pain free, and get shoes that are OK for that, and sod every-one lese opinion LOL.

My first was Reading 2007. Dan le Sac and Crystal Castles were highlights, I was 16 and it was pretty grim 😆 Been to glasto with mum and dad since I was about 3, was one of those bratty kids you could see running wild like a pack of dogs!!

My kit is wellies ( regardless) emergency tampon, cash. never bothered with tent or sleeping bag.
