My housemate Chris knows all about this stuff and he reckons that keeping it low all the time is just a teeny bit more expensive than having it come on in shorts bursts in the morning and afternoon. Which is fine by me it’s toasty. :) we live in old three bed semi if that makes a difference.

Chris my housemate fitted one of these a few weeks ago. We had a bit of fun turning stuff on and off. If drove him a bit nuts. As someone said it’s the big stuff that seems to make the difference, so we’re trying to eat at the same time rather than separately using the cooker, so I suppose it’s made a difference to how we use stuff. I think we’ve all become a bit more aware of leaving stuff on though which is a good thing.

LOL I was having this argument with my g/f last night! She loves them I can’t stand them! Theres gonna be a riot at Xmas if she thinks I’m having them anywhere near my food. Same goes for parsnips, yuck

It never occurred to me to pretend to be a bloke. I don’t think i could pull it off convincingly. Some of the posts wound me up a bit, but tbh it’s a mostly blokish forum and it’s only a few I think. Most posters seem pretty reasonableand some seem like a laugh. My only other forum experience was after ellen and that place makes this look like one of those posh clubs.

Joxster. No one is suggesting that you shouldn’t have to work hard. But the Govt plans mean that in future being able to work hard won’t be enough. You’ll need a well off mum and dad as well. My mums a hairdresser and my dad is a shift supervisor they struggle to help me already.

I’m pretty happy right now. Got amazing partner who I luv. Course work and college life going well. Even housemates are mostly a good laugh and loads of mates. Wish I had more money (don’t we all) I wish partners mum would give the bitching a rest.
