Got to agree with M-C, every pair of baggies ive ever tried look comical. Personally most of my ‘cyclng’ gear is in fact running gear, as it’s generally cheaper, and does just as well. The only bit of cycling gear I’ve got is a pair of padded shorts I got as a pressie.

Shit time the last few days TBH, Chris my housemate is having a hard time with his job and his on-off bitch of a gf is giving him grief and I get most of the blowback. College ok, grades ok, placement coming up soon so nervous about that, relationship is still good after horror of few weeks ago (if anything made us a bt stronger) could do with more money, pervy little brov still pervy, mum good dad good. Stopped smoking and really cut down drink. Running lots haven’t ridden n ages though (waiting for better weather)

Oh Blimey, last gf was a bit if a ‘mare. To be honest though it was my first serious relationship and neither of us was particularly in a good place. Think hormonal teenage girls with sexuality and self esteem issues. It was a bit traumatic and **** up my relationship with some close friends and not least my mum. (we both had to work pretty hard at repairing our relationship)

After all that I wasn’t really looking for a gf but at a party there she was and it’s been mostly ( she **** it up pretty spectacularly a while back) pretty **** lovely ever since.

Sort of related, few weeks ago my an my partner had a bit of a fight, whinging on here about it and in the thread someone mentioned perhaps our lifestyle wasn’t the best. Well I took a step back and really looked at it all and I was definatley drinking too much. Cut right back now (and the fags) and feel loads better, and things are better with my gf too, we talk and stuff rather than hit the pubs and clubs. Its lovely if I’m honest. Saving loads of money as well!!

I always give money to beggers if I’ve got it (not always) I’ll always buy a copy oh the big issue as well. What they do with the money after I give it to them is non of my business. I get drunk and stoned pretty regularly so how could I get angry with them if they choose to do the same. The act of kindness is giving, not telling them what to do with your charity.
