I was quoted recently £1600 for a Worcester Bosch fitted for our house..
Mid size boiler but a quality make, it was £1300 for a non descript make.

I’ve just booked my first trip to Antur for 5th April..
I would have thought you would want to wear a f/f helmet as a face plant on that terrain ain’t gonna leave you too pretty.
As for armour, well that’s a personal preference thing isn’t it, I myself don’t really feel right on a Dh type run without my pads on. Some would say I don’t look right on one either but that’s a different matter 8O

Just sold my 2012, waiting for my 2013 am to turn up. So far will be specced with X0 carbon 2×10 X0 shifters, mechs etc, Mavic Crossmax sx wheelset, hope evo m4’s, renthals and 36 Kashima Floats. Will post pics when built up :D

I just sold a frame yesterday for over £500 and the pp commission was approx £15. Hardly a big price to pay for a bit of peace of mind for the buyer. When I am selling an item I just figure in a bit to cover the fees in the overall price I wish to accept for said item. Obviously if someone wants to pay cash and pick up then price alters accordingly

I have found it easier to shim the chain guide itself as opposed to bb but then what works for one frame/crank combo may not work for another.

It’s a 39/26 setup

Obviously I know the official line re short, med, long. What I am after is real life experience of trying with a short cage and it either working or not.

Well, I did my first uplift with my new V4’s fitted and all I can say is AWESOME

I use an X-fusion dropper and I ain’t no lightweight unfortunately. No issues

I have a Choice of a Mega or my Dh Empire for this, what do you guys think would be best ?

Another Dh rider here keeping a low profile. Ride FOD as its only 3 miles away and cwmcarn with the odd trip Scotland or abroad thrown in..
Empire AP1 for me plus just built a 2012 Nukeproof Mega (first outing tomorrow)

I pay my season pass quite happily, it’s a bargain IMO .
My riding buddy on the other hand has never paid ever but that’s his choice.
