+1 for what torihada says. Good way to help beginners get up to speed. Just hope one day that my son will take an interest in mtb’s. Prefers computers I’m afraid.

Aah right, will check on this with cwmdown. Be nice to know where we are riding but it makes little difference as long as we ARE riding !

Going again on Friday. Liked the new one but would get boring fairly quickly. Just as well the uplift only goes over that side in the afternoon.

Makes a pleasant change from the other side but boredom would soon set in if you were up there all day

Had a set on my Mega for 12 months now. Nothing bad to say, love em, light, strong, stiff and full tubeless out of the box

Contacting the old bill with frame number/description might be a good place to start as anyone who had lost one surely would have reported it

I thought I had the same problem on my Mega a/m but then realised it was my aching bones. More oily fish I reckon :?

What’s the point of a pair of Ohlins, braking wave disc and six pot calipers on that SR500 ?
Aint got the power to pull the skin off a rice pudding. That lot ain’t going to make it handle with the original frame is it.

I lost my wedding ring on honeymoon so don’t have this problem. The wife wasn’t too happy of course !

Thinking of going back to a single ring set up as since I went 2×10 I think I’ve only gone into the larger ring a couple of times. Do you need to fit a different cassette with the narrow/wide setup ?

Had mine 2 and1/2 years and love it ! Doesn’t get as much use as it should though.
    Also. No cracks here :-)

Nearly always companies advertising items as “stock” when they don’t have such items and intend on ordering in when orders get placed. This supremely pisses me off !
This means you place the order instead of going to a competitor who may genuinely have item in stock. Wouldn’t be so bad if they were honest but this kind of thing only catches me out once. Mental note to not bother with said retailer again.

Have you tried pedalling a 40lb + Dh rig to the top of the trails. Not everyone wants to ride a a/m bike

If I was buying another DH bike the Yt would definitely be on my list. Total steal IMO.
Hardly ride the one I’ve got though. :?

Been thinking about a clutch mech so maybe go from 2×10 to 1×10 with one of those large rear cassette rings

I wouldn’t consider there is anything tough at the FOD but then as I live ten minutes away maybe I’ve got used to them .
And I’m of average skills and a distinct lack of fitness.

Bpw looks good. Been meaning to get down there for a while, have to pull my finger out I reckon.
On the subject of armour, I generally wear it myself. Being self employed tends to make one think about getting injured a bit more wisely. I get injured with it let alone without. Although mainly on my DH
