Ha! Didn’t sound quite so bad when I wrote it just before I fell asleep. Although to be fair there was no glass against a wall needed for either

    (hehe, thrust)

Like what you did there 🙂

I’d love to have a dog but it would be at home for 9 hrs a day alone. 🙁

If you both want a dog again then get one. My aunty lost a gorgeous lab very suddenly due to a heart condition when she was 4 years old. Within a week they had chosen another pup and they didn’t regret having her arrive 6 weeks later 🙂 It was more for my aunty who doesn’t work as she missed having company around the house. Nothing wrong with wanting one again straight away

Not me. I thought it was make up when I saw him in the lady gaga video. How long would that take and how painful would it be around your eyes? –amongst other places–

Bunny hop is right, it goes so blummin fast. Try and drag her away even if it’s just for ten minutes, have a cuddle, tell her how mazing she is then go back to battle with with crowds 🙂 we didn’t get to say more than about four words to one another all night! That’s the one thing I regret, we were both entertaining and he I think forgot it was his wedding and went into ‘man at pub with mates’ mode and ended up drunk, we both had a lovely day but it would have been nice to snatch a private moment or two. Just enjoy every second, things will go wrong, won’t go to plan or turn out different and it really won’t matter. A year on (today is our first anniversary) we still smile about the whole day. 🙂 enjoy!!

Ahhhhh I agree with all the above said. So it’s actually the media reporting I hate rather than the actual stories, most of which are probably made up.

Perhaps they did wait drac but when I watched it this morning the reporters words were ‘and news just received in the last few minutes…..’. It didn’t sound like they were waiting to be honest, more like they’d talked about the story lots since it broke and were desperate for anything new to come out to they could keep it running.

Yep, sometimes the telly wants me to buy man hair dye. Don’t know why though.

I had to stop watching when they kept insisting on interviewing random people on the street for opinions instead of going to experts.

Pet hate of mine too. 🙂

That there is an element of pity that able bodied people feel whilst watching disabled athletes, there but for the grace of god and all that…

Don’t be such a tit, what a load of silly billy talk. Inspirational is the word I’d use, just as I found Jess Ennis inspirational etc

I loved watching the olympics and am now very excited for the paralympics, I don’t want it all to end! I was very lucky this morning to get a sneak preview of the Oz v spain talent in the wheelchair basket ball, was immense. Didn’t feel sorry for them in the slightest. I did however quite fancy 3 of the Oz team 🙂 Think its the tan and big biceps 🙂 I’ve met a few of the football team and the GB coach so can’t wait to see them in action too. and the shooting.

also get depressed by the lazy and sensational journalism we seem to get more and more of. There’s also a good chance the article you saw missed out a few pertinent facts to make the storey work better.

You are very right there, half the things you watch or read are just such a load of crap. I watched something this morning about a grandfather and his granddaughter who died in portugal announcing their names. Given they are abroad and it only just happened I reckon there is a fair chance many of their nearest didnt know. That sort of thing makes my blood boil.

+1 for keeping a food/exercise diary. Your diet doesn’t sound very exciting and to me (through my non qualified knowledge) looks like you might not be eating properly to be honest. Cornflakes and bread are not healthy as such and its those sorts of traps people fall into when trying to lose weight thinking they are being good when actually they arent and to be honest you probably aren’t eating enough to keep you going on all your exercise. We’ve been sticking to a paleo type diet (yes a bit fad I know) and it is working wonders.

Just a brief outline of what we have/do in a day:

Breakfast: fruit with handful of nuts, fruit tea or something like eggs and asparagus or eggs, mushrooms grilled tomatoes etc
    Mid morn: nuts, blueberries
Lunch: massive salad with feta cheese or smoked salmon or chicken with extra virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar
Mid afternoon: cherry tomatoes, fruit, seeds, carrot sticks
Dinner: either salad or veg, loads of protein of some sort. Dark chocolate for pud.

You would have to eat more depending on your size and exercise but we stick (as much as possible) to no dairy, grains etc but most importantly, no processed food (feta an exception in this case but it’s good protein I believe). Cornflakes, bread and low fat yoghurt are processed. You get the idea and it sound hideous but actually it’s really not that bad. Exercise wise we both do an hr or so 4 times a week, mix of weights, cardio etc and weve both lost weight but most importantly we feel amazing.

Read a couple of paleo books, they are a bit full on but give some good starting points to get you going. Good luck!

So what happens if she falls asleep half way through sex? (not that this has ever happened on my watch )

You STOP having sex with them. Hard to believe but once someone loses consciousness they are no longer in a position to consent.

Even if you are in a loving relationship I think most women would find it odd that their partner wanted to have sex with them while they were fast asleep, personally I wouldn’t be impressed. There’s also a difference between waking someone up with gentle touching which leads to sex and ramming your cock in and getting going. The latter is bang out of order, the other quite pleasant and leaves plenty of room for. ‘not now, I’m not in the mood’ type responses.

The feeling that I know I have the power to do what I want with my life. I’m really the only one who ever stops me doing anything. Was talking about this earlier as we were talking about the girl from Saudi who ran in the lympics completely covered. Big step forward yet still so much oppression. I think I’d kill myself of I had so little choice in my how I live my life

My cousins four year old son announcing to a bemused looking lad in the park that he is four years old while holding up three fingers. Then riding home on my husbands shoulders holding onto his beard to steer him all the way 🙂

Ps I also have 17 other various pairs in different colours or with sparkly bits. 5 pairs are identical, I got them for £2 each from accessorize so they are easy to mix and match as they are all black. My husband says I’m a freak and a pain in the arse buying so many but I like them.

Gardening, fence painting, bike washing, furniture constructing. In that exact order. I may have sex at some point and I may also ride my bike once it’s washed. The latter is the least likely if I’m honest cuz I’ve lost my bojo of late

I am currently in possession of a very grumpy/depressed husband as he has a hangover and feels like he’s achieved nothing this weekend (he hasn’t). I’ve conned him into believing that if he makes me a roast dinner the satisfaction he’ll get for achieving something will wipe away his post booze blues 🙂 So far it’s not helping him but he is cooking.

We did quite a bit of cycling in france on holiday without a helmet (always wear one over here) and they have such a lot of cycle paths it’s so much safer than this country, even big cities seem to have safe ways around them for cyclists, and even when we were on the road which was rare drivers were a lot more courteous and gave lots of room. Perhaps attitudes to cyclists in this country need to change, stop people getting hit so often. Friend of mine got knocked off when someone swerved into her and she went over the bonet, silly bint in the car didn’t even ask of she was ok, just started ranting about ‘bloody cyclists’ shouldn’t be on the road. I’m not sure on whether people should wear helmets as compulsory but I do think we need more cycle paths and a better attitude to cyclists in this poxy country.
