I quite like being agnostic, that way when I die if there is nothing there and I am just dead I can rest smug in my little powdery tin as I was right and there was no God but I havent completely rejected the idea that there is a god and if he is there when I die it will be proven to me and I can flop through the pearly white gates looking smug that I wasnt actually in the wrong……my logic probably makes no sense but I cant be bothered with religion, they are all crap and the pope looks like a moron and those Tshirts were gopping.

We went to revolution then another bar then the blue room. AND, the taxi driver who picked us up asked if we wanted to buy Anything to get us started!!! I hope he just meant a lift I to town. Half the tables at komediA were stag/hen, there were a lot of them about…. and actually a lot of wat we saw trouble wise were with people who were dressed up.

Food was nice, everything in the day was lovely-deffo will go back to explore more but will just make sure to be home by 11 I think! Got nice burger an chips from a van though!! And the coppers guarding the street the bloke attacked on were funny too, think they were bored!

Hey munqe – yes we deffo chose the most expensive option and because a lot of the lifts weren't open we didn't go very far, first trip to France and to the area so we spent 4 days on the bikes, 3 days walking then a couple chilling out drinking wine letting our bums recover as we had to ride up a few hills to get to certain places.

We did a route out of the bikefax book someone recommended and I was soooo glad I bought my fullface before starting on that one, Ive never pooped myself so much! we didn't get to the places you mention riding but we are going back next year and will know more about the area so will get to ride more as we'll go later in the season when more is open.

We stayed at a campsite in Montriond – 17 euros a night and was very nice and brilliantly situated, wud recommend it to anyone wanting somewhere decent to stay. only thing was the wood cutter place next door had a generator which you could hear but that was it.

So glad we went it was amazing – can see why you have gone back for so many years! x

We will explore much more next year now we have our bearings. The lift passes were quite expensive too, about 20 euros a day so wud probably get a wk pass next year too. I'm ready to go already!

I know where you are coming from molgrips. I think the mother of the child needs a serious speaking to to have allowed such a thing to happen and the punishment for the chap would need to be one that keeps him away from children or at least never to be around them alone. Murdering some one with severe learning difficulties or mental illness is very hitler. Difficult though because little one may never fully recover but I jus think if someone is to blame it is the mother. Very sad.

If the guy was so unable to comprehend the damage he was causing what was the mother doing when he did that to the baby? Some people genuinely should not be allowed to raise children. Too many awful stories, other recents about the silly bitch who left her baby baking naked in the sun til two police officers got it off the beach and to hospital, the 5 yr old who shot his brother in the head playing with daddys gun, the baby that died of a salt overdose cos mum was to thick to learn how to cook properly and the various children who have been mauled to death by dogs . These people aren't malicious but my god are they dangerous. So, so sad.

my OH grew an amazing handlebar tash for movember and by two weeks it was quite well defined so I reckon you could get something decent in a few weeks. Handle bar will make you look like either a porn star or one of the village people though so I'd go with the beard to goatee/tash vote if you dont want to look like a willy when its not actually a movember thing.

I thought if there were no witnesses as such it was knock for knock. I've been involved in those before and the police don't get involved so it's word against word and in my case has just been dealt with by insurance. Just tell her to sort it out that way, like someone said earlier the mirror probably cost less than the excess so shell drop it rather than have the hassle. boom blox is quite good fun. sonic at the olympics gave us a few hours of fun too. not much out for the wii though unless you play with a few people around, and if you do have a bit of a party get 'just dance', its super camp but hilarious after a few drinks. went well for us until I got overexcited doing MC hammer and elbowed my 14 bro in the head.he wasnt happy at all.

Agree with tron , I was in local gov for 6 years deffo wudnt go back but they very rarely appoint out of house if they can help it, they tend to groom. U have to get in on the shittiest jobs and work your way up. Tbf, 6 yrs was enough for me. Wudnt recommend it to anyone. Although on the ageist thing I wud say not, gov jobs are very careful to include everyone. As long as you alreDy work there.
