    colour.

    filter size.

do I like it?my npc 195 keeps me poor.but do I like opening up the bellows…

does it have a lot of menus crap,or can I do things directly.

can I hit someone with it,if need be.

    that about covers it.

international grassroots team.like some youth symphony orchestras.
but faster.unless they’re playing something like this.

ritchey’s project ruanda,or bikes for africa.or something like that.
basically,I’d take kids from shitholes.plenty of those around.
Or maybe juvenile detention centers,or orphanages.
give them a bike.cx,road,dh,xc doesn’t matter.bike,kit.support. if they don’t turn out to be great cyclists,so be it.
the important thing is to show them someone’s giving them a chance.

seems something like my great grandfather’s anarchist bar.but that’s another story.

I had the very same folder, put a fox on the back though.better brakes, etc.
It was horrible on rough, steep, rocky stuff.
roots were similarly bad.besides,it flexed like mad.
and the skinny tyres had no grip.

    I’ve seen some really wide small tyres.like a 20″ pugsley,they’d be interesting.
and you can get decent susp forks for 20″,from german:a.

well,it’s a really good starting point.made a lot of difference for me.

The shop I went to wasn’t like that, they charged me for the fit,I then got a stem off crc.
but it is a fairly precise starting point.you still tweak a bit.and lowered the stem as I got fitter.
Basically it saved me lot of time, hassle and frustration.

want to get a fit done at the mapei clinic over in varese,it’s not that dear.bit of a hassle tho.

jeans aren’t that good.tshirts are made of cotton and take ages to dry, with a fleece and wind proof you’ll be all sweaty, and the tshirt won’t dry.wool works well.

I had a 20″ fs.honestly it was shite.took it to some proper steep trails, the same I’m riding on a hustler now.
It was so shit.I rode around the same trails(slowly) on a road bike with moustache bars and 28mm tyres, that was pretty sktechy in some bits, but not as bad as the tiny bike.oh,epicyclo-getting a gryphon.thanks.
Havig said that,I had a gf who had just bought a 16″ wheeled folder(curve).took her mtbiking.
she did pretty well.but never came again.and left me soon afterwards.
    little wheels’ break your heart.

It boils down to this.buying things doesn’t automatically make you faster.

you say you don’t ride it much, ride it more. Was off the road bike for a month, had my usual ride today.
felt like shit. You can’t buy your way out of it.you can ride your way out of it.
    and get a fit done.

corduroy trousers are surprisingly good for cycling.wool baselayer, woolie jumper, maybe a windproof jacket.
    flat pedals.5.10 freeriders.
humvees are allright, wear them to work.but don’t age well.woudn’t buy again.

galen rowell.inner game of outdoor photography.
    robert adams,why people photograph.
the best way to learn to take photographs is to look at a lot of them.esp in museums, galleries etc.or even in your local library.

and look at photokaboom.great website.bestest one.

    look,it’s simple.
play canvasrider/freerider2,swithcing between bmx and mtb.the handling differences are pretty well done between the diff sized wheels.

my advice is that if you don’t enjoy the time you spend with someone, then don’t spend time with them.
They wanted children, they had children.the proof of parenting is in the parenting.not the conception.

    midnighthour,spot on.
    I emigrated,twice,one for each parent.

You need to pass a test to drive a car,yet anyone can have children.
I remember reading what someone said about evelyn waugh and his wife, evelyn.
the good thing about they being married is that only two people are unhappy, instead of four.
    I don’t hate them,takes too much energy.
but I sure as hell don’t like them.nor do I want to spend any time with them.

if you want to go faster, pedal faster, not harder.
    someone said that.
get a fit done.ride in the drops.higher cadence lower gears.
get a fit done, then fine tune it.takes a few years to really find your position.

first couple of months are the hardest.
    mudguards,waterproofs,overshoes.gloves.lights.
    maybe a mirror.
commuting is the real test of cycling,I think.
besides,it’s the only cycling that actually saves me money.sort of.

blimey, took me two days to get through all that.
Glad I did though, seems the overall majority aren’t thatcherites or thatcherettes.
Nor am I,I was living in london during the poll tax riots,I remember it well.

or decathlon’s got some stuff that’s fine.would still change contact points tho.and get some cheap stems for her to try out reach.

my aunt’s got a pompino.she’s 62.3sp nexus, but I’ll build her a fixed wheel so she can try that.
    didn’t skimp,but I could have saved a lb on the build.wish I had,now.

you can build up a light ss 26″ bike, with big apples and trekking bars, and shorter cranks.
the lighter it is the better I reckon.esp for people not used to cycling.
kona p2 forks, one of those lisa frames.317s,165 cranks, vees, sks.about 500 pounds should do it.
fit really is everything, esp for women.they often ride men’s bikes, and proportions are different.

    aye,she’s your mum.
get her a nice singlespeed.change the handlebars to something like the mary,or the nc17 trekking jobbies.
lower the gearing.get some nice grips, cork,or ergons, fiddle around with the stems, like you would for yourself.plastic flat pedals.nice light tyres.
a basket, those klickfix ones are cheap, and you can get a replacement clamp to make a klickfix handlebag with an old handbag.treat her tight.
oh and one of those heart stem caps.

    there’s some electras on crc,or get a pompino.and a lock,obviously.
    it’ll cost you,but hey.
