that aston is REALLY nice. I do like this though. although I suspect they will get rare as they continue to fall to pieces by the road.

just out of curiosity what does everyone think of this (the future of motoring?)
not a bad price either I reckon.

I think dentistry is a very different case to the gp situation. It is pretty difficult to find a good nhs dentist, the trappings of private practise seem to appeal to dentists much earlier than doctors (generalising I know but that’s how it seems) perhaps nhs funding for dentists isn’t competitive or perhaps there isn’t the obligation to work for the nhs that there clearly is for doctors, I don’t know. As for the lack of diagnoses I guess that’s largely down to the things I mentioned above but also gp’s seem largely unwilling to pass on to a specialist if they think it could be potentially temporary/a mild inconvenience. I’m willing to stand corrected if this isn’t the case, I wouldn’t want to do the job.

Kind of what I was saying. the NHS works but people need to be more honest and just get to the point in order to get proper treatment. In my experience we are a country divided into hypochondriacs and musn’t grumbles. the problem being the people that need help the most tend underplay their problems and GP’s don’t have it easy dealing with the workshy minority.
    IMO

haha, not only that but britishnessitude means that we should go to the gp and tell them it’s not that bad and it doesn’t really hurt much and we could probably just get on with it. And as GP’s have a metric sh*tload of work to do anyway they just nod and say, “give it a couple of weeks/doses of this and it’ll be reet” and we all walk away happy within the prescribed 12 minute appointment time.

My enduro sl has the same issue with a DRS. I removed the non drive side BB spacer and put it on the drive side and the problem was fixed. God luck, those big hits are nice.

I broke mine when I was 16 (long time ago) but didn’t realise it was broken til I was 18 and there was a lot of wear between the two bits of bone. Because of the gap they couldn’t pin mine but instead I had some bone from my pelvis grafted in and a good 3 months in plaster.
It still doesn’t bend properly but it doesn’t hurt and doesn’t stop me riding or playing rugby. Think mine was quite an extreme case due to the wear.
Good luck, sure it’ll heal well just give it time and listen to the doc.

I recently built one out of spare bits and cheap forks and it is REALLY good. climbs well and feels like it really wants to GO down the hills. might be the cross countryesque position that makes it feel like that. I also have an enduro (SL) for general duties but will be using the NRS for epic slogs when I visit my strange northern friends. (Still think the enduro is better though).

I have a MWB Medium top 2003 transit and I love it. it’s not the quickest (its the 100PS 280) but LOADS of space. got a removable sleeping platform in the back that can fit a few bikes, boxes and kit and leave plenty of living space in the back. Also there are some good bargains out there. mine only had 16000 mile on the clock and was less than 7 grand. watch out for rust though!
