sram and shimano are different ratio ! id stick with all sram or all shimano…. i tend to have shimano cassette, rings n chain…

i didnt know sod all about bikes when i got it….its ok i guess but there just werent a choice of colurs in it at that time…its bronze coloured with a kind of mint stripe on it (the stripe i like but not the bronze…. dont like the handlebars either, and ive stuck an old cheapo seat on it, and now its just sat in the cubbyhole doing sod all… :roll:
i upgraded the brakes tho last year and two years ago had beefier forks on it…which need the damping sorted out cos it bottoms out on drop offs… i upgraded to full sus so sadley its rare the hardtail comes out….if i sell it it will go for peanuts… :cry: the other downside is its 0nly a 13 inch frame so i guess no-one wud fit it…lol not many 5ft people around short arse strikes again..lol :wink:

well sorry folks but i had a ‘RaceFace x type’ BB which lasted 18 months and the bike was ridden loads over rocky terrain etc…. i then went to leisurelakes bikes and they looked at it and said i had another couple months ride in it yet….but anyway i got them to stick a Hope BB in … :wink:

ive a ton of stuff in my attic… an old raleigh racer 1980 ish year, my sons girlfriends bike it weighs a ton some cheap halfords bike from a few years back…would get more money if it was melted down..
lots of old paint, drills, teddies, old clothes, a leaded snooker table i think its still there — a brand new table that my daughter bought for her flat which is too big… lots of bike bits, a bouldering mat and two sets of climbing ropes and hooks etc and about 4 pairs of climbing boots , two climbing harnesses and a few chalk bags….. nice red chilli bouldering at it is too very thick for landing on…. i may well get that mat out agin this summer…unused for two years lol

my daughter has just recently bought a cocker spaniel…. he just had his 2nd injection yesterday…. she counting the days until he can go outside for the ‘first walkies’…. he,s abit of a sod tho cos he,s biting everything at the mo, she going to have to be sturn with him i think,,, she keeps telling me “the dog is off his nuts”…… are males more boisterous than females…i guess so unless we get rid of his nuts ! hahha

ive said time and time again “dog owners just dont understand the mind of a dog = ‘people are people’ and ‘dogs are dogs’ thats it, if dogs have tthe sudden instinct to attack = they will.. reguardless if the owners think thier dog is normal and well behaved at home…many dog owners i come across always say ‘oh my dog is friendly-he wont hurt you or your dog..
