lol albino…that goey mud nearly threw me down the banking,…. my tire decided to to a dance in the gooey mud but i just managed to sort it out seconds to going down the drop !!! ive never been down a drop like that before and as i said it was my first time on the newly built tracks so i didnt know what was coming up next…. sooo did like the roller coaster tho… there were lots of yeehaa,s and whooo hoooo,s coming out of me- much to the embaressment of my son… (is that my mother behind me …lol
eye the trail was better than i thort….. and kept seeing extra bits that are still being built…. oh loved the boardwalk stuff too – hope it doesnt become too green like Dalby, otherwise chicken wire mite have to be an option on that part of the track.

i will second that…. 'ride with others" they will push you harder !
this is the way i learnt : each hill i came to, i always climbed a little 'further' the next time i did that same hill and so on …. make your own marker and tell yourself 'you got past that marker last time' so each time you climb , you instinctively know to get further ahead….
i ride with my son alot and his mates (they are all half my age yet i still keep plodding on and dont give up much anymore… if there is someone cycling infront of you most of the time uphill then you know you have to carry on as they dont ruddy wait for you ! lol hahahahha

lol sorry bout this but i just read out the question to my other half…

    he said go ask NASA…
    lol
i have an orange five pro' and i think its great…. the only downside is the front fork doesnt have 'lock out' …but im a light weight so this isnt too much of a problem..
its a great fast bike and i get a buzz out of it everytime i ride..
i started on a hardtail..specialized myka elite and put some beefier forks on it….. a year later i wanted a more beefier bike… and had a demo on the orange 5, and that was it…no going back to anything else….trouble was a couldnt find another bike that fit my size being only 5ft small….. so the womens five pro in the 14 inch frame(short)…just fit me perfect….. still whizzing round the 'home of 'singletrack' fells with a smile on my face…lol

yep i was just about to say park near the winfarm….
failing that if you dont want to pay for the car park…why dont you just cycle up there and cycle home like i do ! lol.. yep that ride for me is about 3 and a half hours long. …from sunny 'Tod' to 'Widdop' up the switchback to Gorple Gate, down to the limestone Hushings at Sheddon…and further on you come out at the windmills, then its the tarmac haul over near the Bridestones and back to 'Home' of 'SingleTrack' land…

i love my five pro so much that i ride it 3 times a week….its a total addiction, its a wonder it doesnt fit in my bed ! lol
its a buzz for me and at as its the small 14 inch frame it just about fits my 5ft small height….

love it to bits and thats coming from a woman !!!!! who cant keep off the local fells….
