havent been to Gisburn in ages…. new trails..have they finished building for the moment.. di they sort that huge sandy berm out hope its a different material now..

mr Blobby : i got my bike from a good shop in Leeds… its a specialized Dolce’ thats it…its got carbon forks with ‘Zertz’ inserts in the forks (something to do with being less ridgid on the roads 😉
im only just 5ft and got the size 44cm frame no pics yet only my 3rd ride today got it last weekend… 😉 im buzzing off it ! lol oh hang on lets see if i can get a photo from a website :

i went for some silver welgo flat pedals cos im used to flat pedals and didnt want those clip in pedals…
yeah overall im well impressed with the bike… i got it to get some extra fitness in as im doing an MTB challenge in June so powering up on the road bike wi :wink:ll help…. only 3 rides into the bike and im hooked on it..lol

hi sue..yeah was out riding yesterday on the ‘Dolce’.. found a big steep hill to fly down quite a long steep hill at that, and getting used to the drop handlebars is quite hard and just about reaching the brakes (so much different to MTB riding. 😉 trying to get used to the gear shifting too (thats alot different than my MTB too -im aslow learner with these roadie gear shifting systems (lol) ah well only my second ride so far so hopefully will get the hang of it too.. got a bit of neck ache yesterday flying down th steep hill…different riding position too (with drop handlebars…hope i master it soon 😉

i had my second ‘Roadie’ bike yesterday…quite windy but fairly warm.
just having to get used to the different gears..they are on the brakes (flick the brakes sideways to come back down through the gears (different to MTB ! lol 😉

i luv Cragg…only been once but its my cup of that place.. i like the ‘zippyness’ of it all…lots of flowy singletrack stuff going on…great when wether is good.
and absolutely love the bouldery stones running back down the Link Path to lee quarry …fun fun fun..
oh Ps ; the ‘rock garden area’ is ‘better’ now a Lee quarry ! and if you dont know (or havent been to lee quarry the ‘table tops’ seem to be sharper too…they have been changed alittle ! be aware…lol..you can go flying without realizing 😉

hey i got a road bike to fit my 5ft small body… its a specialized Dolce….. only 44cm frame…geomatory great (womens )….
all i need to learn now is how to use the gears :wink:…tiny little switch to go up through the gears and like a brake handle that you flick sideways to change down through the gears…wierd…different to the mtb lol…

ambulances and helicopters ??? i was at lee early today up until 1.30pm.. was there an accident ????

co-codamol are the worse thing ever,,,…..hospital gave them to me last summer for unexplained severe continous headaches and i had a terrible time on them..had to come off them in the end…. i now stick with panadol…they suit me much better 😉
