    yeah i have aluminium shimano rings at the mo and no they dont last long at all…

    but if I get it wrong I’m completely stuffed…I’m only 5ft small and if I get it wrong I will end up with back problems…so I need to get it as close to as I have it now.. :wink:

    not changing the bars at all tho cos they are carbon monkey lite and i like them….so just a stem change for me but realy struggling to get my size……

    i have 3 spacers on it at the moment… where the hell wud i find a 7 degree rise anyway lol…..wud have to get a 10 rise then…really struggling to find a stem tho. why is it so difficult…hahah

    yeah my 3 mile walk was all steep uphill today then mostly slid all the way back down on my backside hahaha that was my baby whippet pulling me all the way home lol :wink:

    oh its 2 and a half then if you measure from the centre of the top cap to middle of bars… why do you measure from the centre of top cap then can someone explain please. sorry not good with measurements like this.lol

    all that is written on the stem is ‘31.8mm’ and underneath it says ‘5N.m’
    will see if i can find original receipt but i doubt it will be on there..lol.. looking like it is 90mm tho…

    is there no way of finding out wot measurement this orange stalk stem is…..its from orange it was on the bike when it was built up… is there an email for orange bikes someone whom i can ask ??? was out riding with some guys today and they are saying approx 60mm..

    lol @ being sprayed by a gritter lorry …jesus i had a similar effect of that whilst on my MTB… going up a steep dirt track in the calder valley when a trials motorbike overtook me at great speed and all the gravel flew at me at speed ..turned my face away and got splatterd with gravel ……not good….. lots of nasy words were flying out of my mouth too !! :mrgreen:

    London road is not a decent at all….its a continuous path until you come to a long gate go threw gate for a few hundred metres and turn left at the opening, head down hill and turn right at another gate, straight ahead till you reach another long gate…..from this point its its downhill all the way and quite boggy muddy in places…you reach hebden bridge eventually…get a cake and a brew from town centre then see if you can get up the cobbles…up the butress….you.’ll be glad you had the cake aftet the cobbles…lol

    yeah the gps on my moblie is fine but i dont wana keep getting my mobile out my bag every mile do i ?…i want something thats on front of me bike easy to reach and look at lol….cant be wasting precious riding time stopping and starting just to get out the mobile lol,, :wink:

    Mapping …lol…like navigation… I have a a gps on my mobile with a blue navigation arrow….sommot like that wud do… Im wanting to find new tracks in my area..calderdale..wanting to link rides up with new trails and log my rides into the gps and save them….tho i know alot of the caldervalley but wanting to explore further afield etc….

    jesus Hebden is a mere 4 miles from Tod..lol i cycle tod and Hebden…crickey its not as if i cant cycle and extra four miles…. ahem…. well i wouldnt live in Hebden….wierd folk there….good riding tho ..and nice cafes… nice querky little town….if you want to be querky.. :wink:
