geez ok im thinking around 80 -90 psi then for my weight 8.5 stone….
ive ridden the bike for 6 months prob once per week and had no flat tyres at all !!!!!!! (touch wood)….been over a few little pot holes too… i must admit tho you do feel every bump you ride over tho ( i guess thats the comfiness of the MTB stepping in there then with nice fox forks..lol
does it feel less bumpy with more air in the tyres then or wot…

okey dokey ive pumped both tyres to 100 psi…was quite hard going tho… the bike pump almost blew its self off the valve…lol yep tyres rock solid now….will have to have a trial run in a few days… hope i go faster ! lol…. ok cheers guys, so if its wet or frosty i should take about 10 psi out then shud i…

ok i will try pump them up to at least 90 then (see if i can tell the difference when riding… are you guys sure ? lol….. the tyres are thin tho arent they…..
yeah the person who asked about the MTB pressures…i ride with 35-40 psi you get more grip with less air…i dont have them rock hard… but have nobbly tyres in winter for the gloop stuff on the fells..lol

so i finally bought some tyres today locally…
have tried them out this afternoon on boggy sections, very rocky sections with tree roots etc…i went for ‘Schwalbe Albert’ abd a fatter tyre than i usualy ride (2.35 now…… these tyres are brilliant and shake off mud pretty quick… im happy…

hmmm they look good too..lol only the width is wrong…i have similar tyres on my bike but i got the wrong size… 2.0 width…. you can see the difference they look alot thinner when on the bike and i dont feel very confident with this width at all…..luckily i bought them very cheap so im not too bothered for changing them agin… i dont see any other size available on that website Taff..

so i dont think there are many tyres out there that will throw the mud off. ive tried quite a few types in the winter and they all collect mud…apart from mountain kings which dont have a thick tread and they roll fast (not for mud) i know but they’re not mud collectors either..

anyone used this website b4 ???
the same tyres are 24.99 at Evans Cyles… if you buy two tyres on this website it works out even cheaper !

its not all mud…till i get on the tops so i want something thats abit racey too….
i normaly have Kenda nevegals in the winter-but they dont last very long (i seem to wear them out very quickly ?

northwind….you said those tyres were better in the mud than you expected but didnt realy grip ???? thats sounds wierd..lol
maybe i should have one of those tyres up front and a kenda something at the rear ( will check the kenda range out agin..duno which to have blue groove or nevegal at the back….i think nevegal lasted longer last winter tho…
