slacken the rear skewer back wheel then re-tighten …my orange five used to creak on and off for ages …it was the skewer… just ‘adjust’ and re tighten it… :wink:

yeah sorry it was the activation key for windows…hubby tried to get it from a guy at work…. it failed a few times but this time managed to get it working…

yeah did the slacken off thing, i just had problems from day one always paniking when stopping..hmmm i really duno me n cleats dont get on..i just dont feel safe .. :wink:
mine has worked fine no probs as yet…never gone stiff or anything…
now you could possibly spray it with ‘3 in one SILICON lubricant’….dont use anything other than SILICON based product.. just spray very lightly… :wink:
hmm i have a myka specialized thats been sitting around for ages..added lots of extras myself….including better forks than the originals..new brakes, etc…but then im only 5ft small and my specialized myka is a 13 inch frame, so duno if thats to small for your friend..frame like new no majour falls or scratches or dents….rode it alot then moved onto full suss…. its just sitting here now feeling sorry for itself…lol

hmmm shimano and sram dont go well together… shimano is a different ratio to sram…. use all shimano parts or all sram parts…never mix the two together…. thats what i was told anyway.. its prob your sram chain
Yeah i dont think any fones hav masterd the battery life yet.so annoying..ive bought lots of new batteries for samsung in the past
And you always end up with no power left at the end of a day…my htc rhyme battery is built into my fone..i just hope it survives another ten months. I only get one day out of my fone…someone needs to come up with a brainwave on saving battery power…its the screen which takes up most of the power….lol wonder how these new bigger fones go on like the galaxy note…huge screen.lol.
Tod and Hebden beats them all especially Hebden….lots of very technical stuff if you know where to go…the hills around Tod has some great climbing to be done..its amazing and im glad i live in this perfect area. :wink:.. i just ignore the valley bottom alienated scroats…but they soon get flushed away when it floods cos we get quite abit of flooding these days…lol…
Blimey how the hell can she manage on a 16 inch bike.im just 5ft small 0 inches….i started off on a 13 inch hardtail..fine for me , then upgraded to a orange five which is a 14 inch short frame…anything else above 14 inch just is way too big for me… Duno how your other half has managed??????
dont power wash the bike :cry:..it takes all the grease off and spoils yer hubs…. use gently spray….then ‘muc off’…i use an old toothbrush for the cassette and chain using muc off…spray bike down to rinse… towel dry… get can of BIKE SPRAY (black can -the one off leisurelakes bikes….it gives your bike frame that new shiney look again :wink: :mrgreen:…..occaisionaly i sparingly use 3 in 1 silicone lubricant on my forks (sparingly) you can use it on ya chain too…it has to be the ‘silicone’ based one tho (so not to damage your forks for lubing..sparingly !!!!..

I also have the ks lever only version..I’m used to it now…my son has the reverb which he loves..I had to get ks lever cos my size is 27.2,,,,,reverbs don’t come in that size..
lol bandito, originally my bike came with a raceface BB which lasted 18 months..lol. I’m only small and not heavy so it lasted along time..lol. I now have a hope bb.
yeah been looking at crc website…they have raceface…they seem to be the cheapest at the mo, as I have been surfing around a lot tonite :wink:the cheapest middle ring for raceface is 34.38 ‘ ‘ I only have 2 chainrings and a bashguard. prob get Shimano xt cassette too,I like those. still looking around for a stem tho…almost got pressured into buying a Thompson stem today which I didn’t want…bike shops don’t listen wen you say no ..lol…I prefer hope or sunline really..oh and looking for a gold chain….which is strongest Shimano or kmc…
on another website tho it said these were only compatible with shimano cranks…i have raceface cranks..duh… will keep looking..i have seen a triple set teamraceface i think on chainreaction website…even tho i dont need the third ring but still the set is cheaper than buying two single rings,,,,,lol
