There are two storage areas. The first are at the door and won’t fit much, the space is designed to hang your bike vertically and look a bit like a cupboard, they seem to have brackets for two bikes. Inside the actual carriage there is much more space, probably enough for four bikes, this is where we put our bikes last year.

I use a camelback bum bag with 1 1/2 litre bladder for water carrying.  I also carry a tool kit and first aid kit in there.

Considering the level of dishonesty, corruption and moral failure of the tory government I think Rayner was highly restrained in her language. As has been pointed out, Bevan considered the tories to be lower than vermin, which again is an accurate description of the whole of that party.

Scum is nowhere near powerful enough a response to cover the harm they are doing to the nation and in saying what she did she has gone up in my esteem.

And again, as has been mentioned, the tories are not slow or restrained in their verbal attacks on those who they dissagree with.

It could be an issue of the pressure sensor getting clogged with mud or water. My old 705 used to suffer from this when I had it out front on the bars. I resolved the issue by mounting it on the top tube just behind the steerer, all my head units get put here now. All they have to contend with now is sweat.

    Food poisoning.
From drinking some dodgy coffee where the water hadn’t been boiled when working away in far-forn parts.

I am 6’3″ and use a Nordisk telemark 2 which fits me fine. Its 220cm long, the only issue I have is if I dont tension the foot end properly, where it tends to sag if too loose.

    Oh and its also 900g.

I have just retired an original 26″ BFe for a Pace RC529, which is my first 29er. I got the rolling chassis and am impressed with its climbing and manoeuverability. It also has adjustable dropouts and I’m currently having fun experimenting with changing the wheelbase (if only by tiny amounts).

They are in this only for themselves. They appear on TV, go out shaking hands only to continue to project their image to the populace and keep them relevant. Many of the people they employ are there to continue the media presence and keep the royals popular.

Get rid I say and take all they have acquired over the centuries back and have them run for public good not private.

I know someone who works there – everyone in both offices were sent home (this is the land registry in scotland by the way)

We recently had an offer accepted on a house, mortgage is also sorted and we were looking to conclude the missives in two weeks.

The land registry has stopped processing all deeds so nothing will complete until they are back at work – they sent all their staff home on Monday for a minimum of 12 weeks.

So, unless you have the keys and are sat in the removals van I doubt much will proceed for at least a three months.

I’m not looking forward to confinement in the pokey 1 bed flat we rented while looking for a new home.

Walking past James Watt dock in Greenock. The water is really high today, where did it all come from when its not been raining.

My explanation of how the tide works resulted in “how can the moon suck up the water” She has a degree and a rather responsible job!

I was laid low with something back in November, with symptoms that were the same as many on here have described.

I went from feeling fine to having an awful temperature, shivering uncontrollably (while fully dressed, wrapped in a three season sleeping bag, under the bed covers) to having sweat pour out of me. This came on over the space of a morning. I also had no energy, barely enough to get me to the bathroom to deal with the diarrhea. I was pretty much bed bound for seven days. Following which, I had a sore throat that lasted for the next week.

The initial symptoms came on very quickly and lasted just over a week, and I was pretty much wiped out for the next week. In total I reckon it was three weeks from start to finish before I felt even remotely like getting on my bike – I managed a six mile easy ride and was completely done in afterwards.

All last year I was working on a Chinese land drilling rig. Close to the end of my October hitch the Chinese drill crew did a crew change (just a few days before I went home). I developed the above symptoms just a day or two after getting home. There were a few of us Europeans went home at the same time and at least one other came down with the same symptoms I had.

I initially thought I had had a gastric flue, now I’m not so certain.

Bike for good would be the best option, especially if all you need to do is fit it. They have the tools and rent them out along with workshop space for you to do the maintenance.

    Otherwise Gear on Gibson street.

I have a Nordisk Telemark 2 LW, weighs 850 grams, is quick and easy to put up, is supposed to be able to handle any weather. It can suffer from condensation (dont all small tents) if not put up correctly.

I spent ages researching which bikepacking tent to go for, other than cost this ticked all the boxes and I haven’t seen anything that betters it since I started using it.

I have a Tundra Pure-0, it is the best bag I have ever had even though it’s only rated to 0 degrees it kept me warm last October up on the Devils staircase when it started snowing.

I’m 191cm and it comes in at 210cm long, it has a waterproof head area and foot box and packs nice and small for fitting in my bar bag.

I got it from Tiso in Glasgow.

I was more concerned if the stem would be strong enough

The C3 is a more of a neat fit and the C5 a bit on the looser side also the C5 has a chest pocket whereas there is no chest pocket on the C3.

I wanted the fit of the C3 but features of the C5. In the end I went for the C5. It’s a teeny bit flappy  when up at speed.

I mount mine on the top tube on my mountain bikes, as close as I can get it to the steerer. I found mounting on the stem or bars led to the pressure sensor becoming plugged with mud and not giving accurate altitude readings, also on the top tube its less likely to be damaged in a crash. It isn’t perfect for navigating or following courses but I’m willing to live with these short comings to have a functioning altimeter and not smashing it in a crash.

I know this might be above the price range, however i have a Whyte Gisburn (there is the cheaper slightly lower spec Friston) which I think is brilliant. I rode a very winding four day route from Cheshire to Glasgow by road then did the west highland way on it in a relaxed two days. Ive managed 100+ road miles loaded with luggage on road tyres and then hooned around muddy tracks and fire roads with some more off road oriented tyres.

I’m using Crud roadracer Mk 3 on my Whyte Gisburn with Schwalbe X-one tyres. They attache with stick on velcro patches. They can be a bit wobbly when hammering down rocky stuff and have been fiddly to get just right so there is no tyre rub. Overall I’m happy with them.

Flying offshore in the early naughties out of Macae in northern Rio de Janeiro state the pilot came in to the end of safety briefing to give his safety talk where he said “we will take off to the north and do a sharp left turn while climbing hard before the end of the runway, due to being shot at from the favela at the end of the runway” To which I asked “how do you know they have been shooting at you?”

“Oh, they hit us a couple of times”

I would forego the solicitor. Speak to the Citizens Advice Bureau, they have set letters for the vast majority of issues around sale of goods act. I used them to deal with land rover when the ECU, engine wiring loom and half the injectors went on my disco not long after it was out of warranty.

Maybe those sudden extra 80 tory votes suggest which side is most likely to take part in voter fraud.

If you have a large lawn area go for the largest diameter mower with the biggest grass box. Mine has too small a grass box which I am forever emptying which in turn means it takes a full day to cut the grass. I had a gardener in cutting the grass one year and he had all the lawns cut in a couple of hours. His mower did cost him over a grand though!

For someone who never got over his dad dying in the war he has certainly managed to generate an awful lot of discussion. Though Mr Barrett is another thing altogether.

Floyd are rather good. And I am quite partial to a bit of punk.

It’s all music in’it and as long as it sounds good and has something to say, then what’s not to like?

I now live near Loch Lomond, which is much nicer.

I’m currently running two Reverbs and have never had a problem, I had a KS (i7 I think) post from before they were sold by Superstar and never had a problem and before that I had one by KS that had the octagonal shaft, that also ran perfect – even though it required a very specific technique to make it drop 8O

Was an outie for a very long time, then came to the realisation that Boris and his ultra neo liberal ilk will be setting the agenda for workers rights, tax, the NHS, social housing and will be negotiating the exit with the EU, which brought me to the conclusion that The road to Wigan Pier and Down and out in Paris and London would soon become modern reading on the state of the nation. I am now firmly IN (couldn’t change if I wanted, I have a postal vote which I posted almost as soon as the envelope dropped on the door mat)

Oh and most people I know are voting IN except a couple in their 70’s and they are for out (One is German)

I watched the women through the new woods section and all bar Rache and Tracey looked terrified, they all had big dabs, though even quite a few of the men had trouble in there. I initially stood there looking at it thinking “I’m looking forward to having a go at that” Maybe not so much now I’ve seen the big boys struggle with it.
Stevies ghost run brought a tear to my eye, it was complete silence down in the finish area.

They’re ace and it’s very easy to have a big day in the hills riding them. In the Dunoon enduro last October we put in as many minutes descent as the SES rounds were putting in to their rounds last year.
