I’m at parenting level 200. We’ve kept twins alive for a whole year.

Does it benefit us if we finish 2nd in the group? Easier run to the final? That’s the only reason I can think for this total bore off.

Youtubes Jeff Cavalere is probably the only physio you’ll need.

Your short hamstrings are probably under a lot of tension because of the rotation in your hips. Stretching them probably wont help.

My bet is weak core and weak glutes. The glutes are lazy and the lower back muscles can essentially do the same job of extending the hips. Do you specifically target your glutes when you exercise?

Hope this helps. Im not a physio just repeating Jeff Cavalere

Octopus want to put our monthly payment up to £480. A few years ago I remember paying about £40/month. I’m going to phone them and tell them no, because that’s unaffordable. It’s finally made the wife, who is renowned for not listening and always being right, realise it’s quite a problem.

Why is butter so unbelievably expensive now? It seems like it’s increased in price by about 8000%

My wife doesn’t quite get the concept or the impact of this cost of living crisis. Whereas i see turning the heating on as a last resort, she sees it as the opposite. Quite disappointing really.

Pick up the phone and qualify your target to see if they have a need for your products.

A feature is only a benefit if it meets someone’s requirements. The skill of the salesman is to establish their requirements and this is done by asking questions and listening to answers. Once these requirements have been established you should explain how your products or services fit their requirements. It is not what your product is, it’s what it does.

Don’t be afraid to then ask for the order to lose the deal. If the answer is no, ask why not and try to manage their objection then ask for the order again.

Just received our latest monthly bill (Sep 25th to Oct 25th) and we spent £235.27. How does that compare with other people? We have 1 year old twins at home so we have to heat the hot water tank for their evening bath and we keep the thermostat set at 16 in their bedroom. We are frugal with the heat for ourselves however now. A blanket and a hot water bottle is not too bad when watching TV. The insulation in our 1930s house however is non existent and we cant insulate the cavities due to building debris.

Octpopus set our dd at £356, now £289 with the governments £66 support.

I am slightly concerned however as so far we haven’t really had any cold weather.

Cant advise, but I take a high dose of vit d (with vit k) and 50mg zinc and i’ve not had a sniffle for a while. My understanding is that both vit d and zinc play important roles in the immune system.

Re shoes i use the SPeedgoat 4. They are so comfortable but not my choice when the conditions aren’t great. La Sportiva Mutant are also very comfortable, but a lot better in the wet and mud.

Re shin splints, i would be looking at glute strength. In particular glue med. Jeff Cavaleres Athlean X videos on Youtube are great.

In answer to your specific question, if it were me I would be looking for the ideal house for your circumstances and not try to guess the market. If you wait it out you might miss a gem.

We have had our house in the market for about 6 weeks. Very little interest, and I’ve noticed the prices in our area have probably fallen 10%.

I think the market will fall quite a bit as buyers will be few and far between and their buying power will be diminished due to interest rates increasing.

I would love to give it up and the only reason I haven’t is because of willpower. I don’t drink much but I find the short term gain of having a beer or two in my system is offset by sleeping difficulty, mood, confidence, my relationships and it’s unfair ability to curtail my exercise capacity.

I would love to know what she said behind the scenes to get elected, because it was blatantly obvious from the outset she would be sh1t.

My suspicion is that she said to the con party members that if they vote for her she will cut the top rate of tax.

She is an abomination. Something must change to ensure blatant chronic incompetence doesn’t find its way to the top again.

@IHN – out mortgage is with YBS. In short we are almost a mortgage prisoner, which is where you can not remortgage to a cheaper rate instead you are stuck on the SVR which is more expensive. As we are not in negative equity, we do not fall under the mortgage prisoner category. As my wife now only works 2 days a week due to childcare and therefore our income has dropped, we do not pass the affordability tests. Therefore once our currentl 5 year rate ends next year, we will be stuck on the SVR until we sell the house which is currently on the market. I’m struggling to sell my bike at the minute let alone my house.

And yes, I will be asking them why they think we should pay, say £1800pcm yet they won’t let us remortgage and pay £1600pcm.

Why don’t seven Trent fix the leaks in the existing network first?

    My personal circumstances:

-nursery fees to cost £700/month from January (twins in two days a week)
-mortgage rate to end June next year and the mortgage company says we won’t be able to remortgage due to wife not earning full salary, expect £1000+ extra in the mortgage when we go into SVR
    -Energy bills up £300

Our get out of jail card is we must sell the house. If we don’t sell the house and downsize, we simply do not have the money to cover bills. Simple as that. We are absolutely f*****.

Ours has to be on as we have 11 month old twins. We also have a fixed rate mortgage ending soon. Its likely we will be a mortgage prisoner. Obviously our energy bills and food bills have increased dramatically, whilst we go from two incomes to one. I strongly suspect we will default on mortgage payments as we simply will not have the cash come the new year. OWith the current SVR, it means out bills have gone up by about £3000/month. If we fail to sell our home, which is highly likely, I suspect it will be repossessed.

Before we had kids we earned nearly £100k combined and amassed over £10k in savings, as we thought we could afford a child. Nobody expects twins.

Now we are soon to be on the bread line.

I dont know what to do?

Although I can’t relate directly to the thread, I have found taking a magnesium complex supplement has done wonders for the quality of my sleep. Top quality magnesium isn’t cheap but it’s definitely value for money IMO

Bananas contain about 300mg potassium whilst the RDA is 4700mg. Better sources of potassium include avocados and salads. Potassium is a vital electrolyte, (I can’t remember his name) won a Nobel prize for discovering the sodium potassium pump. Sugar knocks potassium out the body also so I would look at that too.
