I use a protection 2.4 on the rear, and the non protection on the front in 2.4. I find if the front is not pumped up to 1,000,000 psi then it punctures far too easily. Once I can justify the cost i will definately be buying the protection version. Great tyres though.

Interesting. Its the driving i hate, its like solitude, it hurts my back and i hate not being active, stretching my legs etc. I think its difficult to go from a sales job to anything else other than a sales job, so i think finding new work might be a bit slow.

No its not just a bolt and washer. The back plate has a groove in it for where the cable sits. A bolt and washer is for the Shimano mech, there the grove is etched into the mech itself. Plus the pack plate in the pic above has a thread in it.

Sorry to hear that. Im in Didsbury so i’ll keep my eyes peeled. Ive seen a few scumbags riding expensive bikes in West Didsbury at midnight which are blatantly stolen.

How were they taken? Were they in a shed, in a car? What time of day etc.

Be aware, if they cant grab your bike they may try and dismantle your bike, taking all your parts instead! Happened to me. Twice. They ruined the alarm too so it never went off.
