+1 for don't bother if it's really wet as riding through treacle would be more fun ,and quicker than the clay/chalk of the Ridgeway

I had an early model Fazer and that was a good bike and your money should buy you a later model.

Ridgeway is a day ride end to end of the bridleway bit and a half day longer if you go all the way to Ivinghoe Beacon sneaking about on the footpaths

I would go for a lightweight like an er5 or 6 much cheaper to run .Bigger bikes are expensive to run thirsty and expensive on tyres chains and sprockets. To be honest it's no cheaper than running a small car .Unless you can filter a lot to save time on your commute I would not bother

No stabilisers the hobby horse scoot along to get balance works well you can even buy bikes like it now from Isla bikes .Kids don't learn with stabilisers they just lean to one side all the time .Take them off and they learn quicker .One of my boys was riding at three.

I assume bigotry is fired by the fear of homosexuality, as if any gay person you meet is going to try it on with you?

Probably wrongly fitted them .I am a heavy lump who rides an overgeared single speed and I don't break chains. There was an article where someone got the boss of Sram to admit there is sod all difference in quality between their cheap chains and the expensive ones so go cheap and change often

And they are bullet proof loads around that have done well over 200k so paying 2 grand for one with 120/130k on should get you a car that will last a while basic 90hp one is a bit slow the 110 hp looks a good bet ,(these are diesels by the way)
