You dont need headset tools .This can be done with a flat screwdriver to tap it out of the old frame and block of wood and a mallet to put it back in .You will need the right bb tool, chain tool ,and cable cutters ,or very good pliers will do
I have a small family bike shop near me .It sells the usual hybrids and bmx bikes for kids .It does not stock much higher end stuff but without fail will always get anything I want within a few days and phone me to let me know. It's this reliability that keeps me going back ,other lbs's locally don't bother to order stuff quickly or moan about minimum orders
importantly they dont have huge bloody great side pockets and flap around and make me look like a 14yr old
Having the bloody great side pockets is the most important bit to me as they carry the stuff that digs into your hip like keys wallet and phone. Also they are multi purpose because I wear them to work
I have followed the tour since the 70s and find it even better now more Brits are in it.I used to love the old channel 4 coverage.I have only been to see it once and that was the prologue in 2001 in Dunkirk .We all cycled from Calais up the coast and the whole tour experience is brilliant. One day I will get to an Alpine stage
or companies don't make frames big enough .All my 20 inch frames have 400 mm pins just over the limit line. Why don't many cater for big people who ride with their seat at the right height .They all seem to cater for those who ride with a really bent leg no matter what discipline they do
Maybe I do jump to conclusions but to me the point of mtb is to explore the hills and not be spoon fed .I prefer to get away from thecrowd if possible and head for the hills(when the missus lets me!)
Much like out access battles there are even less rupps and boats for bikers and 4×4 drivers and I agree with their fight .Much like us there are those who are sensible and those who are not. The sensible ones will work with authority to improve stuff
