The OP is clearly ignorant of the history of humanities migration over the past six millennia. Ignorance is also the basis for racism.

One in each sock and one under your helmet.

You must have an unfeasibly large helmet..doesn’t it chaff when pedalling…? :D

I guess it’s all about the motivation and practice time, like anything else. I bought the Ryan Leech wheelie challenge and it’s been great -I’m popping wheelies everywhere. Worth paying money for the motivation imo.

We went there for the first time last Bank Holiday Monday ( in the afternoon). Amazed that apart from seeing a few folk in the first uphill bit, after passing them we didn’t see another soul for the rest of the ride. I’d heard it was always busy on weekends and holidays.

Totally wrong to strike and I think we should all just accept it. The government’s right about everything and we really need to learn that they always make the best decisions….some citizens are getting too big for their boots. Must be the education that’s doing that….

Ownership would be in your deeds?

Were having our garden done in a few weeks..neighbour owns the (disgrace of a) fence that’s going to be replaced (but doesn’t wasn’t to pay for it). So as others have said, we’ll erreect our new fence a few inches within our boundary (leaving his shitty old one in place) so we have full ownership of new fence…seems easieat that way…

I think it’s social media and not the subject that creates the behaviour OP..

he Labour Party absolutely has a problem with anti-senitism and Jews

Another made up #jamba-fact which you keep repeating without any actual evidence…

Well, I guess if this is happening..

Labour are in a very very deep hole here and Kenjamba is furiously diggingmasturbating

It leaves very little time for research.. :D

My advice would be to avoid at all costs. First time you go it’s ok but you soon realise it’s about as dull as you can get on a bike.

He’ll be alright then..it’s his first time. :D

Edit: I agre with you though re. dull. Worth a first time visit though to see what it’s like.

Good old politics – taking an important subject and using it lazily like a club to bash at a political party to do as much damage as possible to gain points..

Come on @Jambayala…sure Corbyn has handled it badly and it’s another example of his poor leadership in the context he has to work within…but to say anti-Semitism is endemic in Labour is just silly and emotive…something that shouldnt be done with such an important subject.

Russia and North Korea agree about the farcical nature of human rights…good for them for not being in the EU and being told how to govern their citizens….and yes I do know North Korea would geographically find it difficult to join!!!

I love the use of a Californian based example for a muddy bike being ok in the UK…that’s like a man who lives in the desert telling an Eskino there’s no need for gloves :D

Question re @kayaks ‘pump out the pads first’. Surely, if bled properly they’ll be no space left in the closed system and therefore no space for the pads to be pushed back in again (to be able to get rotor between them)?

@jambayla – what is the evidence that Americans see the NHS as a disaster?

My understanding is that if you have the money in the USA to pay for your health care then great. If, however, you don’t you’re screwed. I’ve seen shocking documentaries showing how poor people have to queue in their hundreds ,for hours during the middle of the night, in the hope of have a free consultation with a doctor.

Although, I wonder if you’d think that if they tried harder to earn some money that they would not be poor, so actually it’s their fault anyway….

    @Drac – I agree.

I think it’s got very muddy and emotional that some of the orginal concerns are struglling to get through. They interviewed a doctor on the picket line and her reason for striking didn’t come across well either…although you do have to be media savy to sum up your concerns in a minutes soundbite on the radio..

But like I said … it’s not as if we do not know these problems exist.

So with that in mind… what else does his programs show ?

You could make that statement about many documentaries. I can’t comment any further because haven’t seen it, but will watch it soon.

He works for people wanting to watch those less fortunate than themselves… so we can all look on and feel superior.

That is something I’ve never felt towards his stuff. I really respect his approach. No way would I compare his style to say C4’s ‘Life on Benefits’ which I’d say reflects the above comments more.

Each to their own opionions I guess.

How would you get back on the bike after a fall? Back to the terrain that made you fall off, or gain confidence on easier terrain and wait till you feel more confident to go back to the trickier stuff?

    No rush is there?

If you want it you have to fit it in..this morning I was parked up at my local forest at 7am so I could squeeze in an hours bkking before the family gets up…I think it’s worth it though because, for me, that time of the morning is best. It’s quiet, the wildlife is noisy and waking up (I regularly see families of deer) no one else around so have the trails to myself… and I still have the whole day ahead of me… Win win..:D

Eh? Do ‘we’ lack self esteem so much that we have to spend billions on trying to keep fairytales alive, in the hope people will come to visit our (shitty as you call it) far away land etc…priceless.. (or not as the case is)… :D

I work in the NHS and don’t know a single consultant who doesn’t support the strike.

Why are the the public illogical with their views regards the strike.

The public trust the doctors with their professional decisions over their health, but then distrust the doctors professional decision regarding the strike (which is still related to the publics health) and instead choose to listen to the government who have far less ‘real knowledge’ of the situation.

    edenvalleyboy

    I fully support them.

It only looks bad because no one else dares challenge the government and its appalling decisions – the junior doctors are the only ones to stick the head above the parapet and say enough is enough….

They wouldn’t strike if they didn’t have to… besides, round here the majority spent their strike day last time volunteering in old peoles homes etc…they weren’t having a day off…

Look at it as an opportunity to teach your child tolerance, understanding and alternative viewpoints.

Our daughter goes to an active CofE school, whilst my other half is an atheist and I’m agnostic. She’s coming home singing songs about God etc and we take it on the chin (it’s a great school). However, everynow and then we tell her it’s a debated history/story that some people choose to believe and others don’t..and she can make up her own mind. She’s her own person…and only 4 :D

For all my occasional antii-capatalist rants I still think we live in a comparatively great county. We’re not shooting each other, we’re fleeing the country on dodgy boats and risking our lives to do so, we’re not being bombed or having homophobic beaatings being carried out etx…

Sure, our bowing to money has made us forget about others and that causes suffering and inequality…but in the grand scheme of how we could be living compared to others I think it’s a great country right now….

There is no justification for the pay gap between the BP boss and other colleagues within the organisation at other levels

Also, no one even needs that level of income….it’s pure greed, made even more obscene considering all the poverty we have in the world.

Not quite the same definition i’d use for homogenous JY…only alike in a label has been applied..we don’t have the same characteristics…also, i’d never call myself a cyclist…

One of best decisions we made was not getting sucked into a big mortgage…initially I was disappointed I wouldn’t get my ‘dream’ house …but now as a family we don’t have that extra stress of paying off a big mortgage to worry about… which leaves more money for other stuff and we love our house even more for how it makes us feel…and remember , stress gives people heart attacks…not worth dying over a house….
