I have had two goes at snowdon. One desent was a mare. One was great. Same bike. Did ride slower the second time though. If you treat it like a downhill track as I did the first time you tend to break stuff.

Heating a conservatory? i think the accepted way is to get brazier in there, throw all your money on it and set it alight. Or an even quicker way is to open all the windows and just throw the money out, unlit.

There’s loads of potential at the quarries above the old cement works in weardale, there were plans that went tits up in the recession. It might come back one day. People within an hours drive time might be a problem in NE though if you want to make any money.

Paul Milne cycles on eBay have loads of race frames in that range if that’s what you are after. Formed at that price are very good.

RC are OEM. Rockshox website is no use. I asked them what was the difference last year but they came back with the stock answer that they are OEM and not available after market so i shouldnt be able to buy them so they wouldn’t tell me. :-/

hyrd work fine with 5600. My anecdotal experience is they are sensitive to cable slack/ housing bedding in. Tighten them all up as per instructions. Dont be adraid to realy yank on the brake. Lever now comes back to bars with no bite. Tighten em up again as per instructions to take up slack. The now bite at a nice point halfway through the throw.

They seem to be trying to morph from a posher surly to be be Santa Cruz. I guess changing distributors is part of that?

Howies stuff does not last years FACT OPINION!!

    FTFY :-)

Ive had t shirts, shorts and a softshell jacket last for years. i still blow the crotch out of their jeans as quick as any other brand though.

does seem steep though for the shorts though, shame, the other stuff has been coming back down to much more sensible prices post timberland.

Cruds are great. I can’t see how you can break them. It’s bendy plastic, zip ties and rubber bands.

Not saying you’re wrong welsh farmer but the scots considered all that and it’s worked for them. I can see that it all seems a long way off in the manicured Home Counties but are Wales and northern England that different in farming practices, soil, weather, population to Scotland?

The current system of ignoring the silly bits of access rules works for now but it feels a bit like the Greek approach to paying tax. It’ll get us in the end.

Broke my wrist twice rather than hand. First good news it does get better. Now the bad, it’s never the same again. Hand strength is not too bad but as the human body is all connected my arm and elbow can get tired and ache in compensation. Good luck. yours sounds nastier than mine :-/

No spyres. Hyrds Are very very good. Equivalent to mid range shimanos on mtb I reckon. Good lever feel with both the last 2 generations of 10spd 105 levers.

    I love BSP

    And brakes. But mainly BSP

They’ve played some of the most random gigs. I had the pleasure of watching them in church in devils costumes. You had to nip out to the porch to drink though.

Is this the brass tour? I don’t get to go.

these look amazing apart for the price. Why dont the lower range have the ankle protection. grrr. I seem to forever crack my ankles on chainstays on the mountianbike so ankle protection is a godsend but would be nice to get it without the weight of full winter boot.

To be honest if you are looking at budget then if look somewhere else than 29+ full stop. Once you get rims, tyres ain’t cheap and only about 3-4 frames exist that take the tyres front and rear and non of those are mainstream or cheap. So basically sod it and buy the duallys ;-)

All tubs are labeled as 28″s
Only thing that runs true is the etrto number but who uses that.

More political overhead, no tax raising powers ?

its not another level its taking an exisiting level sat hidden away in whitehall and putting in Manchester where it should be. Once that happens you should be asking what job MPs in the area have to do anymore, that fella for Tatton for a start. ;-)

If you fell run you should try to front foot strike. Running down a rocky Lake District hill at top speed cuffing rocks, it nearly makes running as much fun as cycling. Nearly.

Sorry I meant if you tax it as a car because that’s what your v5 says. You can’t tax it as a car if your v5 says its not.

Much of my knowledge comes from T5 forum I’d suggest there.

But rickmeisters post is interesting. Goes off to check….

Is it taxed as a commercial vehicle or as a private car? If you tax it as a private car it’s car speed limits.

i think its one size fits most rather than one size fits all. more a tactic to keep costs down for a small business starting up rather than a design philosophy.

Apparently that wtb 2.8 is the most optimistically measured tyre known to man. Bikerumour took it all quite seriously.

those modular tiles look to be about 50kg a sqm so if they were on the roof of a wooden outbuilding what kind of dimensions for the wood framing would you need to support that kind of load?

Jews were happy with a monotheistic god that was both good and bad.

They’re completely clueless about how to deal with the likes of Salmond and Farage – people who actually believe in something, and are also clever bastards.

i cant let this go. what does ukip believe in? someone please sum up what they stand for beyond populism.
